Hope you are ready for pumpkin recipes because they are coming for you in full speed ahead!  The boys and I got in the kitchen last week and whipped up the most delicious pumpkin pie smoothie with ingredients you are likely to have already stocked.  Break out your favorite glasses and surprise the family with these simple to prepare treats.

Hope you enjoy!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-1

Here’s your recipe line up.  I used my Nature Box granola, but any of your favorite type of granola will do the trick.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-2

We love our Blendtec, but any high powered blender will work great.  Let’s start by adding the ice cubes into the blender.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-3

Time for the almond milk.  I prefer vanilla almond milk.  Adds a little “extra” vanilla which is always a good idea.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-6

 Some ground cinnamon up next.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-7

A few tablespoons of vanilla pudding mix.  This is a secret ingredient that makes the smoothie thick and fabulous.  You can however leave it out and still have a great smoothie.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-8

Almost ready to blend!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-9

A little splash of vanilla.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-10

Some of your favorite granola.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-11

Pumpkin!!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie-12

Freshly grated nutmeg, mmm!  Blend her up!

Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and get ready to swoon :)

This is one of my all time favorite smoothies to make! I buy cases of canned pumpkin from Amazon so I can have it all year round :) Love the idea of adding granola – it’s like combining your bowl of cereal with the perfect autumn dessert! I often add cooked quinoa to my smoothies for a little boost in protein and added creaminess, but I’m definitely going to try granola next time around.
