We live in Hawaii (i know poor us!) so we don’t go on many vacations because there is no reason to except to visit family for the holidays! My favorite vacation as a kid was when my dad would have seminars and we got to go with him! San Diego was my favorite! I could spend all day at the zoo and Sea World!

My favorite vacation has to be my honeymoon to Cozumel…heavenly!
My favorite vacation was the last I shared with my daddy. I was 8 & we drove cross-country to CA to be with my grandparents. We didn’t have a camera but I’ll always carry the bits and pieces of pictures of him in mind… the lights of the dashboard reflected on his face as he drove in the dark, holding his hand at the base of Mt.Rushmore, him pointing out an old withered spooky looking tree on the side of the road telling me that was the tree where they hung Tom Dooley (Remember that song “Hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley?), and him surprising me with a china doll after he and mom got back from visiting San Francisco. He died that fall… killed by a drunk driver. That was about 47 years ago, and oh how I wish I had pictures of us together.
