Roasted banana sounds so intriguing! Reminds me of what browning butter does to the flavor…yum!

My favorite way to enjoy oatmeal is in granola form. The Whole Foods near us sells an addicting Blueberry Almond Granola and I bet we go through 5 pints of it a week! Oops 🙂

I love cooking it with raisins and dried apples so they rehydrate as they cook. I add cinnamon, brown sugar and pecans. Yum!

I’ve never tried roasted bananas in banana bread – I bet the flavor is so much better. Love the steel cut oat topping – I’m a big fan of steel cut oats and I’m must imagining how nicely the texture of that topping compliments the banana bread 🙂
