Easy Cake Mix Recipes
I love a good cake mix recipe! When you doctor it up a little, you can get a gorgeous dessert all of your guests will rave about. I’ve used cake mix recipes for years and love the simplicity.
I love that you can add all of your ingredients to your mixing bowl or stand mixer, no particular order necessary. This is a great cake recipe to have your kids help prepare because it’s so simple!
You guys know I’m obsessed with all things Disney, so when this hidden Mickey showed up in my eggs I had to photograph! I always use large eggs in my baking recipes.
What Is A Bundt Pan?
Bundt pans are cake pans that bake up a cake that isn’t quite like anything you can get from another pan. They are usually 10 or 12-inches in diameter and are up to 5 inches deep, with a hole in the center that ensures that the deep cake bakes evenly while it is in the oven. The sides of a bundt pan are almost vertical and the pans, which are typically made of cast aluminum, have fluted or ridged designs that make the finished cake look very impressive. Over the years, the pan style became so popular that manufacturers started to branch out into more creative designs, not limiting themselves to the traditional ridged round cakes.
What If I Don’t Have A Bundt?
If you don’t have a bundt pan, then there are a couple alternatives. You can use two loaf pans, this should approximate the bundt pan. Another alternative is to use a deep circular cake pan with a ceramic ramekin in the center of it to create the hole.
Can I Bake A Bundt Pan Recipe In A Regular Pan?
Remember that a Bundt batter baked in a non-Bundt pan will require different baking times. Bundt batter halved and baked in two cake or loaf pans will likely require less time, while Bundt batter baked in 13×9-inch pans may require more time, so stay in the kitchen while the cake bakes and check on it regularly to ensure proper doneness.

Did you use white and orange melting chips for the topping? It looks more like icing.
Hi Holly, I used white Ghirardelli melts for the first layer then added orange food coloring to the white to drizzle on top.
