I know bathroom humor is lame, but I just couldn’t resist this email I got this email from a good friend I used to work with. Living with all boys in my house, I’ve had to learn to laugh at more things than I used to. Check out this restaurant in China. Would you be caught dead eating here?! Gross. Clean out the toilet bowls and Have a great weekend!!
Modern Toilet is a restaurant in Taipei . It accommodates 100 seats with each made from toilet bowls. The specialties at the restaurant accompany sink faucets and the food is served in mini plastic toilet bowls. The toilet rolls that serve for wiping hand and mouth are hung above the tables, which may resemble glass-topped jumbo bathtubs.
This is just wrong? Chocolate ice cream!?

That’s pretty funny. Western style toilets are really strange to some folks. About as strange as the restaurant is to us. I’m not sure who gets the last laugh, though. =) Theme restaurants do -really- well.
Furniture you poop in? Really? No one thinks that this could be weird to other people?
I can’t even find the words to type how nasty that is. My hubs was really sweet and brought me a cup of coffee into the bathroom and I wouldn’t even drink it. I have a real bathroom “thing”! NASTY!!!
That ice cream is just wrong on so many levels. Eeeewww!
But I couldn’t help but forward it to my boss. heehee
EWWW, I know my dh showed me this last year and I was so grossed out. I just do not see the humor in this what so ever.
We live an hour and a half south of Taipei but take many trips there for my husbands work. We are going at the beginning of the month and I WILL get my picture taken there! I have heard of it but never seen it in person. I have 4 boys (including my husband -the biggest kid of them all) and I hear ya about the bathroom humor.

Where in Taipei is the restaurant located?! Shame it wasn’t there when we lived there, though I must be honest, this wasn’t the strangest thing I saw in Asia! I’ve got stories girl, if only I had pictures! I should have brought it with me anywhere I went to capture any craziness at a moment’s notice!
