I can hardly believe Picky Palate is 5 years old this month! I remember so vividly starting up Picky Palate one late night in AZ not having any idea what I was doing or where it would take me.
I could not ask for a more perfect job that I love so much. Creating recipes and sharing them with you is such a joy and I consider myself very blessed.
Never in a million years did I imagine I would someday have a cookbook! My cookbook was released this week and I am still on cloud 9 about it. Check it out if you haven’t, lots of love went into creating those recipes and pages, I am so thrilled to finally share it with you. There are more than 100 new recipes not on Picky Palate!

I make a LOT of cupcakes considering they contain nothing nutritious. For actually eating, I make chilli really often.
I like making chocolate chip cookies and zucchini bread.
The meal I generally gravitate towards when I cook is my red beans & rice with spicy pork sausage. Just the right amount of heat and its so satisfying whatever the season!
Probably cookies. I love to bake, and those are the easiest to give away so I don’t eat them all! Happy anniversary! What a fun giveaway!
It changes depending on the season. This time of year I cook a lot of things with squash, most recently a butternut squash pot pie.
Cookies, I make lots of cookies, it relaxes me. 🙂
Not sure which recipe will win out for made the most, but I know it’ll be a cookie!

The thing I make most often, actually, is a protein shake for breakfast. 🙂 Next to that, I’ve been kind of boring lately: whole wheat angel hair pasta with mushroom tomato sauce and tofu. It’s good, but I need a new lunchtime item!
I’m sorry, I digressed. We did make cheesy pepperoni quick bread as a group, and it was sooo good! And so much fun!
