I can hardly believe Picky Palate is 5 years old this month! I remember so vividly starting up Picky Palate one late night in AZ not having any idea what I was doing or where it would take me.
I could not ask for a more perfect job that I love so much. Creating recipes and sharing them with you is such a joy and I consider myself very blessed.
Never in a million years did I imagine I would someday have a cookbook! My cookbook was released this week and I am still on cloud 9 about it. Check it out if you haven’t, lots of love went into creating those recipes and pages, I am so thrilled to finally share it with you. There are more than 100 new recipes not on Picky Palate!

I make homemade chocolate chip cookies most often. Good chocolate chip cookies are a hit with almost everyone. For a special treat, I add walnuts–my favorite version. Yum.

I make a recipe called Ugly Chicken each year! Cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, chicken breast, onions, salt and pepper. Heaven!

Pies! Apple pie. Or maybe cookies. Thumb print cookies. Oh, but the winter breads like Orange Cranberry loafs and Banana Nut bread. Too many recipes. Too little time.

I’ve always wanted one of these mixers, but can never bring myself to actually put forth the money to get one. I know I’m cheap–let’s hope I’m lucky, too! 🙂 I love cooking each night, and we often have any type of pasta or casserole dish. I find that I make a lot of enchilada’s, though!

And what do I do most often? That’s a toss up. I love to make pear and Pecorino Ravioli, so pasta is made often in my current mixer. And Anise bread…LOVE it! do it between Thanksgiving and Christmas, always a favorite at our house, but loves lots of mixing.
