I can hardly believe Picky Palate is 5 years old this month! I remember so vividly starting up Picky Palate one late night in AZ not having any idea what I was doing or where it would take me.
I could not ask for a more perfect job that I love so much. Creating recipes and sharing them with you is such a joy and I consider myself very blessed.
Never in a million years did I imagine I would someday have a cookbook! My cookbook was released this week and I am still on cloud 9 about it. Check it out if you haven’t, lots of love went into creating those recipes and pages, I am so thrilled to finally share it with you. There are more than 100 new recipes not on Picky Palate!

We use our KitchenAid to make everything from mashed potatoes to cakes, but my favorite is mixing up batter for oatmeal raisin cookies! Ours was given to us by my grandma and is still going strong after 30+ years. Congratulations on the cookbook and anniversary!
I make a lot of Hummingbird Cakes and Red Velvet Cakes.
I love to make my Pumpkin Bundt cake with either a vanilla or spice glaze….neighbors offer to pay me for a cake. My husband and 3 kids will not eat anything else pumpkin, just this cake 🙂

I’m constantly making rolls, breads, cinnamon/orange rolls, icing, mashed potatoes…I’m a mother of 6 and make 95% of everything homemade, because it is so much cheaper to make it yourself than order take out. I also like to be creative and make bread dough for rolls and put a meat/veggie mix inside the roll and bake it, with cheese 🙂 a meal in a roll! Just have a side of salad and you’re complete! I love to bake 🙂 My kids love to chip in and be my helpers! When they move out one day, they will be set, because we all love to bake/cook/ & grill! 🙂
