Intel Core i5 processor Review and Win a $250 Gift Card to Best Buy!

This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Intel.

Let’s face it, life is busy. We, or maybe I should say “I” feel like I am always running around with my family just hoping to get everything I need to get done every single day. As a mom of 2 busy little boys, a wife, a recipe developer, website author and new cookbook writer, it is so very important for me to multi-task and use wise time management otherwise I am in big trouble.

I find it helpful to write down my responsibilities each week on paper so I can see them along with having family meetings so we are all on the same page then try to multi-task every chance I get.

When I come across things that make my life easier….and faster I am all ears.

I was selected by BlogHer and Intel to review a new computer powered by the Intel® Corei5 processor with Turbo Boost Technology that allows me to get more done in less time. Talk about excitement when I heard those words! The laptop is beautiful. I quickly opened the box and set it up all by myself. For someone who knows the bare minimum about running computers, I must say I was relieved how easy it was to get started.

An Intel® wireless display (akaWiDi) adaptor was also sent that allows me to use my HDTV a monitor. How cool is that? I can work on my blog or type recipes on the big screen in my living room. I can NOT wait to get playing on this new computer. Stay tuned to hear more about my experience!

I guess you’d call most of my computer time play, but much of it involves doing the business of running a home and family. I don’t know how I would function without mine.

    I would say I spend about 70% working (I’m a designer & developer) and 30% surfing/ watching tv & movies/ chatting/ social networks/ etc. ^_^

I definitely use my computer most for leisure….surfing the net, shopping, reading blogs, and playing games.

Tie between working on narrative reports, checking email, looking for recipes and wasting time. 🙂

I spend little time on my computer by the time I am done with work. Work would be 90% of it!

My computer time is split between work and school. And now that my son is getting older we use it for educational games.

I spend most of my time on the computer working. But I do take some time to relax by reading blogs and catching up on my favorite TV shows. =)

I spend so much time on the computer each day reading e-mails, writing e-mails, checking in on my friends on facebook, and working on my books and blogs.

the computer i use most is my work laptop, so i do more work – but a lot of pages are blocked, like email – so that has to be done from my home desktop – or phone!

I work in front of a computer all day so try to avoid it at home (not working tonight). My favorite thing to do is read great blogs and check out what my friends have been up to on Facebook. I also keep my budget in a spreadsheet so on paydays (like today), I go in, see what I have to pay for the next two weeks and send out my bills through my Bank of America online bill pay service.

Mine is pretty much 50/50. I work on the computer all day and then I usually have it on at the house most of the evening. I’ll check email, update my social sites, play games, etc. while watching tv or cooking.
