Decisions, Decisions 🙂 Best of luck!!

Welcome to my online kitchen! Picky Palate is where you’ll find family friendly recipes along with the best Disney eats, tips and copycat recipes!
Pie!
Oh, My… I think I would cook a big fat turkey in one oven and an apple pie in the other,, I can’t imagine how great it would be to have TWO ovens !! YOWZA !
I would make my Grandma’s carrot cake recipe with homemade cream cheese frosting.:)
Nothing like cooking a batch of chocoate chip cookies to break in a brand new oven. With it being a double oven, I might have to bake several batches at once!
Considering I have a small little oven and stove top (3 little burners and one large, who does this?) I would make a classic chicken parmesan for dinner and attempt to make macaroons for my first time!! I love mixing the old with the new!!
LOVE that oven, could really use it, too. I would cook a pan of cinnamon rolls, and maybe slow cook some ribs in the other one! 🙂
I would make a turkey dinner!
Wow! What would I make? Apple Pie sure sounds good, baked to perfection…
I would love to start a new family tradition, Thanksgiving in July!!! After all, its too yummy to only do once a year! The first thing I would make is baked honey ham, twice baked potatoes, green been casserole, sweet potatoes, homemade yeast rolls, & pumpkin pie!
Cookies!!!
I’d have my daughters make me cookies….lol
I’d bake corn pudding, ribs, and brownies! 🙂
Oh my goodness is thatstove amazing or what?!?
Obviously the first thing I’d bake is brownies…peanut butter brownies.
I would bake my grandma’s Angel Food Cake and my mom’s pot roast! It’s a double oven after all. 🙂
My wife has been complaining about our oven forever! First thing I’d make is Pork Chalupa Nachos! Yum!
The first thing I would bake in the new LG oven?
Probably some of those oreo stuffed cookies or brownies.
Everything on Picky Palate looks so good!
Goodness! What to cook, what to cook… I’d love to bake a dessert while roasting a chicken. How cool would that be?
We love our LG TV’s so I bet their oven is fabulous, too. I’d make my husband’s favorite gingerbread. 🙂
I recently found out I was preggo….and the recipe for oreo stuffed chocolate chips cookies, on the picky palate blog, is one of my favorites, and I’ve been eating one a day…and justifying it because…well, you can justify a lot when your preggo. My batch is almost gone, so of course the first thing I would bake, is a new batch of my favorite cookies!!!!
The first thing a would cook in my new oven would be a large turkey and some homemade bread. I have a small wall oven that has been in my home sent we bought it and I hate it. I can’t even put a regular size cookie sheet in it! Fingers Crossed. =)
Great stoves! I would love to utilize the double oven and cooktop by making my main dish, TACO CASSEROLE in the top oven, the garnish of sautéed fresh peppers and onions on the cooktop and a coconut flan in the bottom oven. It would open up so many options for gourmet cooking in a timely fashion for my family. SWEET!
Baked salmon and orange brownies are calling my name!
The first thing I would cook would be steak that is first pan seared and finished in the oven.
Why? It is the last food I remember my Father making for us before my parents divorced and then my Mom passed away a very short time later. I made it for dinner for my son tonight & thought of how proud my Father would be that I know how to do it just like him
I’m now divorced myself after 21 years of marriage. My husband did the classic mid-life mistake and left me for someone else. Taking our assets with him. I am now studying Sports Medicine & Cadiovascular Nutrition in Tallahassee. I found a great man and we will be buying a home, so, we could use the oven. He works for the state of Florida so he isn’t a wealthy man. But, he is wealthy is all the ways that counts and has been instrumental in my healing.
He would LOVE it if his unemployed girlfriend/unofficial fiancee’ saved him some money.
I used to have more money than I knew what to do with, but, he was a cold man. Now I have the man with the heart, compassion, and integrity and feel so much happier.
I have always seen cooking as an act of love and even when I didn’t have enough food for myself & the only food i saw was on commercials, I made sure my children ate well when they came to visit.
Anyway, thanks for the contest. It was nice remembering my folks.
If I won…….lasagna and homemade rolls
A turkey dinner! I can all the sides, turkey and desserts!!! It would be like an extra cook in the kitchen!
Rolls!
Oh Gosh…it’s so beautiful!! I would have to say that i would bake my famously delicious lasagna…oh so beautiful.
I would make Gooey White Chocolate Fluffernutter cake bars – I can’t wait to try them!!!
Oh how I need a new oven since mine has quit! Brownies are calling my name along with a great meatloaf! Thanks a bunch!
The first thing I would bake is focaccia. I bake them for the local farm market and it’s such a big hit that I’m up to 90 loaves a week all baked on Friday in a single home oven….takes forever!
My Dad does not have a stove/oven so I would give this to him. And to christen the stove I’d make him some enchiladas with rice and beans.
Stuffed golden roasted turkey

Oh my gosh! I’m in DYER for a new oven! Baked Cheesy Chicken Penne in one oven with Snickerdoodles in the other oven for dessert!
COOKIES!!!
Anything! My oven has been broken for 2 months now! 🙁
Decadent brownies
