If anyone asks me my favorite editing software for all of my photos, without hesitation I say Lightroom. No question. I’ve never been a photoshop gal because of the learning curve. Lightroom is so easy to use, I was so excited to learn that I figured it out in just minutes. (I am not tech savvy at all)
It sure makes my job easy as a food blogger being able to touch up my photos ever so slightly to get just what I am looking for.

There are so many before and after pictures I can show you, but this is one I did just last week when I was photographing my Double Chocolate Butterfinger Cake. We had some friends over and their dog was outside my window watching my cake, lol! I snapped a photo and as you can see on the left, it was dark and gray. With just a few touch ups from Lightroom you get the picture on the right. Love!!

I need to be better about taking pictures. I got a new camera for Christmas and I mostly take picture of my kids, I would love to be able to edit them.

I sell online on VarageSale the App thru Faccebook and also on eBay and the better your pictures look the quicker they sell and for more money. What your items looks like makes a huge difference! I actually bought a better camera after seeing Jenny and Amanda ( from Kevin and Amanda) take such get pictures. Well that alone has made a difference in my sales. So my next step is to learn to edit! I really would love to get lightroom and learn how to use it 🙂

Hi Jenny! I mostly take pictures of food! I recently started a blog and this would be an amazing asset! I’m not the most tech savvy myself and this would be wonderful!
We don’t have kids, so we take a lot of pictures of our cats. We also like to travel, so we take a lot of pictures of the sights along the way. Our biggest photo project took three years to complete… We traveled to every county in our state (92 of them) and took pictures of their courthouses. We sure could’ve used software like this to touch up some of those! 🙂
I take pictures of baseball games a lot. I love baseball, and the added practice of photography to go along with it is one of my favorite pastimes!
