If anyone asks me my favorite editing software for all of my photos, without hesitation I say Lightroom. No question. I’ve never been a photoshop gal because of the learning curve. Lightroom is so easy to use, I was so excited to learn that I figured it out in just minutes. (I am not tech savvy at all)
It sure makes my job easy as a food blogger being able to touch up my photos ever so slightly to get just what I am looking for.

There are so many before and after pictures I can show you, but this is one I did just last week when I was photographing my Double Chocolate Butterfinger Cake. We had some friends over and their dog was outside my window watching my cake, lol! I snapped a photo and as you can see on the left, it was dark and gray. With just a few touch ups from Lightroom you get the picture on the right. Love!!

It is a toss up at my house, I take a picture of almost everything I bake but when my kids come to visit well…………….After an hour or so they start to man & groan, “You want to take another picture Mom?” lol! I can’t help myself! My editing software is so old that I really need to update. The Lightroom Software looks like it would be just what I need!
I love to take pictures of my boys!
Mostly my family- but when we travel, it’s more nature, architecture, scenery-
I most often take pictures of my environment, I used to be beautiful landscapes back when I lived in the country and now I’m finding beauty in the everyday objects in a large city.

I take the most pictures of my son. He’s my one and only and I think he’s so darn cute. Of course I’m just a little bit biased.

My cat mostly. It’s sad really.
I’ve been practicing for my first trip to Disneyland in a few weeks. I’ve been to the Florida parks plenty of times, but this will be my first time at the original ‘happiest place on earth’. I hope I come back with some good shots.
My kiddos!

my kids and pets!!
We definitely take pictures of our pets more often than we photograph any other object or person. Our cats are my fiance’s first pets and he still has that child-like joy and fascination over having wild critters share his living space. When I’m home, I most often photograph my nephew. I miss him terribly and am so thankful I loaded up on pictures for all of those years so I never have an excuse not to see his little face!
My two beautiful children.
mostly of our bulldog and our manx cat
My camera comes out mostly for food, whenever I’m with my ‘little’ friends, and of course when traveling.
I definitely take pictures of my son the most.
My toddler gets the most pictures. Lately our little chicks come second – they’re actually growing faster than my daughter!
I especially like taking pictures of my family.
First my beautiful towheaded boys–then all of the food for my blog and newspaper column. I definitely need to invest in some photo software.
My cat is on first place
My hubby and extended family!
