If anyone asks me my favorite editing software for all of my photos, without hesitation I say Lightroom. No question. I’ve never been a photoshop gal because of the learning curve. Lightroom is so easy to use, I was so excited to learn that I figured it out in just minutes. (I am not tech savvy at all)
It sure makes my job easy as a food blogger being able to touch up my photos ever so slightly to get just what I am looking for.

There are so many before and after pictures I can show you, but this is one I did just last week when I was photographing my Double Chocolate Butterfinger Cake. We had some friends over and their dog was outside my window watching my cake, lol! I snapped a photo and as you can see on the left, it was dark and gray. With just a few touch ups from Lightroom you get the picture on the right. Love!!

I take pictures of my kids the most! They grow TOO fast!
I take (probably too many) photos of our dog and cat. They’re our kids until we take that plunge! 🙂
Hands down the most pictures I take are of my kids and our family.
My daughter! and cupcakes..
I take pictures of my kids ALL THE TIME. Whether with my phone or my DSLR I have had to buy a separate external hard drive to store them all
I most often take pictures of people and scenery while on vacation. There are some seriously large gaps in my picture taking.
I mostly take land and cityscape photos – especially when traveling!
I love trying to take photos of different things. But by far most are of my son. And pretty soon his little brother too 🙂
I take lots of photos of my girls, especially during events & holidays.
I live in a gorgeous area, so I take a lot of scenery pics. Kids and dog too 😉
My family!
I take pictures of “beauty”. It can be scenery, food, smiles, colors, quilts, sunshine, rain, ice, dinnerware, shoes, animals, insects, whatever. I take pictures all the time – I should have been a photographer for my profession! Like you, I struggle with the full-on Photoshop and would like something less intense.
I love photography (and food, too)!!!!
I take photos of food, but I know they could be a lot better. I’d love to try this software to enhance my photos.
I take photo’s of Life! Memories! Family! Food! You name it, I photograph it! 😉
My kids for sure!! 🙂
I take lots of pictures of scenery, family, and animals. I love taking pictures & have never figured out photoshop. This software sounds great! Thanks for the giveaway & info.
I take the most pictures of my energetic 18-month old baby girl…it’s getting more and more difficult to capture her since she’s ALWAYS on the go!
I mostly take pictures of my 2 kids and our pets. I recently bought a dslr camera to make it easier to capture those special moments. Can you have too many pictures? Lol
I mainly photograph nature, landscapes, and other scenes that make me feel calm and happy.
I mostly take pictures of my cat, my kids, food and home! 🙂
I take a ton of pictures of my son and am due with a little girl in a few weeks that I am sure I will take a billizon pics of 🙂
I don’t have kids yet so I probably take the most pics of my dog.
I take a million pictures a day of my 8 week old sweet baby boy:)
Thanks for the giveaway!!!!
Mostly family and food. Thanks for the opportunity! 🙂
I take pictures of everything! My camera travels with me and I am a “shutterbug”, but certainly not a professional! I just thoroughly enjoy it and would like to be able to do more “fixing” of the photos. Though some folks do not want their picture taken, it sure makes a wonderful memory for future viewing! So much fun and one of my passions (along with food, of course!)
I tend to take pictures most when traveling to capture time and place.
My oldest son, Dylan!! I LOVE taking picture of him because he is fearless. He will do whatever it takes for me to be able to get the shot I want! What a trooper 😉
I have an 8 month old baby girl and can’t stop taking pictures of her. We are in love with her! And I’m also starting to take pictures of my food to start a visual recipe book for my family. This program sounds awesome!
I take pictures of the desserts I make and also of my dog, Oliver!
buildings & architecture is my favorite. It makes traveling so much more enjoyable and exciting
My son and the flowers in the backyard.
Most of my pictures are of my family and food. Ha!
I take many, many pictures of scenery and architecture when we travel, but when I am home, most of my photos are of food or DIY projects for my blog.
I love to take photo’s of the beach and other beautiful natural places.
I am a card maker. I take pictures of my cards for my blog. I have Photoshop Elements. It is NOT user friendly. I can barely use it. I am VERY interested in Lightroom!
Thanks for the info and the chance to win
Susan
I love to take pictures of my kids!
