Crisco is inviting home cooks to submit their favorite recipes at GetInspired.com in the Crisco Mediterranean Inspirations Recipe and Essay Contest for the chance to win a trip for two to Italy. Recipes should include one of the three Crisco Olive Oil varieties:  Crisco 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Crisco Pure Olive Oil or Crisco Light Olive oil plus two ingredients commonly used in Mediterranean-style cooking, including tomatoes, garlic, pasta, yogurt, legumes, fresh herbs, lentils or cheese.

    Chicken Basilica from Guiseppe’s in Pismo Beach, California. It is a chicken breast with a creamy basil creme sauce with tortilinis on the side! Yum!

    I watched the videos and paid attention to thier charity as well as the sandwich. I love the Ronald McDonald house because it’s SO SOOOOOOO important for parents to be able to be close to their children if they are hospitalized for any length of time. I had twins and they were in the neo-natal nursery for two weeks after they were born because of health problems and then another week in the newborn nursery before they came home. I wish I had a place to stay closer to the hospital back then because it was a 30 minute drive each way and it was so exhausting with the drive and stress combined.

    Plus your sandwich looks amazing too so you got my vote. GOOD LUCK!
