Crisco is inviting home cooks to submit their favorite recipes at GetInspired.com in the Crisco Mediterranean Inspirations Recipe and Essay Contest for the chance to win a trip for two to Italy. My favortie is a simple pasta with olive oil, tomatoes, garlic spices and chicken.
I LOVE eggplant parm.!! It’s a new found love, I had it for the first time last year…never even had eggplant before, but it looked SO good! My family growing up wasn’t to adventurous with their veggies, although I’m learning to be :0)
My favorite Italian-type meal is veggie lasagna with a white sauce. So yummy!

My favorite is definitely a simple red sauce with garlic and onion sauteed in lots of olive oil, a high quality canned tomato (pomi is my favorite) and fresh basil.

I love a good antipasta salad
