I love to make any kind of cookies when I am not working, but my favorite is my Dad picks my son up for me sometimes and he always makes him a PB&J.

A special snack would be this exactly, as we seldom have sweets in the house.

I’ve only got one day of school under my belt so I don’t know what snack I like to make for my daughter after school. Usually if she wants a snack, it’s a piece of Dove Chocolate promises. Yeah, just one piece. It’s times like that when I wonder if she is mine. I’ve never been able to eat 1 piece of chocolate…ever. Let alone be satisfied with a single piece of candy for a snack.

My daughter is only two years old, so I haven’t really thought about after-school snacks yet, and won’t have to for a couple of years still.

My favorite thing to make is chocolate chip cookies….always has been and probably always will be. They were sent to my husband when he was in the military, for bake sales, and after school treats. Nothing better.

I give the kids cookies after school. I try to keep their lunch healthier and more protein packed so I think it is ok to give them sugar when they come home.

We usually whip up a trail mix of some sort (pretzles, goldfish, chocolate chips, dried fruit, nuts) and put it in a bowl on the table to snack on.

We LOVE to make cookies with any kind of chips…milk chocolate, semi-sweet, white chocolate, peanut butter, ANYTHING!

Honestly, our favorite after school snack here is chocolate chip cookies! You just can’t beat that!
