Can’t go wrong with chocolate chip cookies.
I am a facebook fan.
By the time my girls get home from school, it’s close to dinner time so usually there are no after school snacks. But many times there is a special dessert treat….homemade cookies, brownies, cupcakes that they get to enjoy after dinner.

Well, considering my kids aren’t in school yet (I WISH!) our favorite snack are apples and string cheese. Guess I don’t ‘make’ it though. Hmmmm….
We make Smores!
Cookies, muffins or cupcakes, plain ‘ol loaf cake… it doesn’t matter. Just as long as the smell is in the air as the front door open and the snacks are still warm!
(For me, I’d be pretty pleased if I got an announcement that we’re skipping dinner altogether and saving all the calories for dessert, to be promptly presented by a fully-decked-out, all-the-trimmings ice cream sundae :D)

I like to bake cookies for after school. Although in this heat we’ve had in California lately, it’s been fruit instead.
This is a perfect giveaway because I always think of chocolate chip cookies when I think about going back to school!

We homeschool so really there’s not an “after-school” snack, but I do remember that when I was in school I loved coming home and either having biscuits and jam or popcorn.
My favorite thing to make for my kids is the original Nestle toll house recipe!
My kids don’t usually snack because we have to eat so early to get to practices! But we love cookies and have been baking everyone one you’ve listed so far! My kids loved the smores and I loved the white choc., blueberry and caramel ones!

fruit or bananas with peanut butter for snack around here.
My little girl is about to turn one, so we don’t have “after school”snacks yet, but my favorite ones as a child were no bake cookies with my mom, and “ants on a log” [celery, pb, and raisins] with my dad! I can’t wait to make them with her. :]
I love to make cookies hot out of the oven for a special treat, but on a normal day it is a healthy snack like apples and peanut butter.

I have always made my children Triple Chocolate chip cookies on the first day of school. They’re huge cookies (made with an ice cream scoop) full of semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips, and Heath bits with milk chocolate. They love them and are a special treat!
A quesedilla with corn tortillas. Yum!
