I work now, so my kids tend to fend for themselves, but when I was home, it was usually graham crackers with peanut butter & milk!

Chocolate chip cookies!!
My little one is only 2 so he doesn’t go to school BUT when he comes back from hourly daycare I loooove to make him mini pizzas, his fav. or mini cookies! He gets to help mix everything together and scoop onto the pan!

My son loves sliced appples with homemade caramel dip.
I usually like to steer my kids to fruit or yogurt for after-school snacks.

My daughter loves to munch on Tostitos and salsa/melted cheese
All my kids are now teens or older, but when they were little I always *tried* to have something healthy when they came home from school. BUT…they were happiest if there were Magic Cookie Bars aka 7 Layer Cookies waiting on the counter 🙂

Not so much after school but for breatfast we like to add Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chips to Cream of Wheat. Rich.
I love to make some kind of warm dessert from the oven on a cold day, like chocolate chip cookies or chocolate chip cookie dough brownies.
When it is hot, something like a fruit parfait!! =D
