  71. VickiT

Oh I think my keyboard needs to be replaced now as I just drooled on it at seeing this giveaway. LOL I saw that new one on thier site two weeks ago and was wishing I could order it right then and there. My 6 quart Kitchen Aid stand mixer has been ‘almost’ broken for over a year so I rarely use it as I’m afraid it will break the rest of the way. I just can’t afford to fix or replace it. I would LOVE to win this one.

The very first thing I would make I think would be Cowboy Cookies with all the goodies in them. That machine would probably make quick work of that recipe.

Actually what I might do first though is to make whipped cream. I’d LOVE to see just how fast I can make that with this machine. LOL

  72. I would make some good old fashioned Toll House cookies in my new mixer. And a new mixer would come in handy with the holidays just around the corner. My poor old Kitchenaid is 25 years old … and on it’s last leg.

  73. Lily

I will be making the most delicious vegan chocolate cake ever! It is my yoga teacher’s recipe and she has such an amazing story behind it! She had an eating disorder and ever since she went vegan, she has been free from it and taught me how to make this cake. Literally, better than anything you could imagine.

  74. Mindy Langford

I would love to make the Cinnamon Roll Pumpkin Sheet Cake with this mixer!!!! Please make me the lucky winner!!!!!

  76. alicia moss

  80. I had my first whoopie pie EVER today! So I would have to say that I would make all different flavors of whoopie pies (pumpkin and carrot are on my mind right now).

  81. Marlene

South American’s! It’s a dish that was created in my hometown in Northern Minnesota. It uses the food grinder attachment to grind ALOT of vegetables – bell peppers, sweet banana peppers, hot banana peppers, celery, tomatoes and add all of that in with the meat mixture. It’s kind of like a spicy sloppy joe.

  82. Carlie Brosemann

Oh my goodness. This is my dream kitchen appliance. I seriously love these. The very first thing that I would make in my new kitchenaid 7qt stand would be a cake for my daughters 1st birthday. I LOVE to bake.

  83. Seeing how Halloween is nearly here and I have been “Boo-ed” (yummy treats and a cute poem on my doorstep), it is my turn to spread the Halloween cheer. The first thing I would make with my new kitchen aid is some yummy chocolate chip and butterscotch chip cookies to send to several of my neighbors!

  84. I would love to make homemade bread – or try too. Yeast, what a hard ingredient to use, but maybe a new stand mixer is what I need to bake a yummy loaf of bread. 🙂

  85. If I won the new kitchen aid mixer I would make a big batch of chocolate chip cookies for my hubby! These are his favorite cookies! We have his grandma’s famous recipe and I can never get them to come out quite right with my hand mixer. He would love to taste her cookies since she is no longer with us. We have our first baby on the way and I would love to be able to make them for our children so they could understand how great their grandma was!!! I know the cookies would come out right with a stand mixer because they would be mixed so well and it would make them a breeze to make! I have always wanted a stand mixer but just could not justify the price.

  86. Allison

I’ve been wanting to make a simple white cake. Homemade. But still with the oddly good taste of a boxed cake. MMM. I REALLY need this mixer.

  87. Emma Jo

I would definitely makes some homemade whole-wheat bread. I’ve made it a couple times recently, but I’d loved to not have to dirty by table to knead it.
    Kitchen Aids are so beautiful.

  88. Chelsea

i would make your little mini oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies! i have been craving them ever since you posted them!

  89. I would make a cake in honor of my mom. She was a fabulous cake baker and decorator, and always said that her KitchenAid was the best mixer for mixing up the batter and whipping the cream.

  90. Greta

I would make key lime pie cupcakes. Key lime is my favorite! Or a lemon merignue pie with the perfect meringue.

  91. Mimi

First I think I will make pizza dough. (some for pizza and some for stuffed bread..with hamburger or chicken). Than I will make some cookies that I saw done on food network for my husband who is in hospice. Yes I will share with the caregivers at Benincasa Hospice Home (I love them all). What am I saying…I would just bake all day with it… I have always wanted one…not even santa got me one!

  92. Lori H

What would I make? Monster Cookies! Oatmeal, Choc chips, butterscotch chips, etc

Color – Hard to choose — Red would be a first choice but Black and Silver are beautiful too!

    Thanks for the giveaway chance!

  93. Christine C

I love to bake, and since it’s fall I love to bake with pumpkin. One of my favorite recipes is for pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting. Yum! I love sharing them with my family, friends, and coworkers.

  94. jacqueline

I would make brownie stuffed cookies!!!! i’ve wanted to make that recipe of yours for so long but I never have the right equipment. Thank you for this giveaway!

  95. I would make a chocolate meringue pie. I need to perfect it for Thanksgiving. My grandmother used to make it every year and ever since she passed away we’ve never tried to make it. I think it would mean a lot to my family to have it again.

  96. Bethany Plants

Chocolate chip-chunky peanut butter cookies!!! 🙂 I’ve wanted a KitchenAid mixer for so many years!!

  97. Georgea Moore

Sausage Balls. An app that dates back to the ’80’s but is still so popular. The stand mixer with the dough hook attached makes short and easy work of mixing the heavy dough together and rolling the balls becomes dead easy.

  98. Melanie

I think I will just permanently have my kitchen aid mixer mixing recipe after recipe when I first get it. However, the first thing to make will be bread. Homemade whole wheat bread. mmmmmm

  99. Rhonda Lura

My 8 year old son was recently diagnoised with celiac disease. This would be perfect to start making all his bread doughs, cookies and pizza doughs in.

  100. It’s beautiful 🙂 Like everyone else I am loving all the fun fall-flavored baked goods recipes I’ve been finding around blogland.. so the first thing I’d make would be either Pumpkin Spice Cake, Donuts or Cookies!

  101. Roberta Beasley

There are two things I would make if I am the Lucky Winner. The two things I would make is two of my grandson’s favorite things and that is Zucchini Bread and Pumpkin Pie. I would also try something new and see if he would help me because sometimes when he helps me bake he will say “I would like to try a new food”.
    Thanks Roberta

  102. Oh my goodness!!! This is on my Christmas list. I don’t know what I’d make first because there are so many things: scones, bread, cookies, whipped cream, a souffle… I’d just be so excited to use it!

  103. HAS to be lemon meringue pie, only with homemade crust, for my dad! I’ve always baked various goods for my family, and he is my number one taste tester!! 🙂

  104. Marcy Blackwelder

First thing I’ll make is a batch of cinnamon rolls. Fall is in the air and I’m in need of warm cinnamon, creamy frosting, and hot chocolate! Mmmmmmm

  105. Marilyn McKiddy

The first thing I would make with my new mixer is an Almond Pound Cake. My mom used to make them about twice a month and serve them with peaches she had frozen. She’s been gone a while now, but I can still taste that cake!

  106. Oh how I would love to win this! I have been dreaming of a KA for years and ended up getting a Sunbeam Stand Mixer because that was what my Grandma had for 30+ years. Well, they certainly don’t make those the way they used to.

After only a couple years of use and one replacement already the motor is now starting to make very loud weird noises, not to mention that I can’t make a double batch of anything in it because it’s too much for it.

I think the first thing I would make would be a batch a bread or a double batch of cookies, it would be a toss up between the two.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  107. Madeline

OH MY STARS THIS IS GORGEOUS!!! HOPING THIS IS FOR CANADIAN RESIDENTS TOO!!!!!
FIRST THING TO MAKE…CUPCAKES OF COURSE (TRIPLE BATCH) TO THANK YOU!!!

  108. I have been a baking fanatic for years and I still don’t have a KitchenAid Mixer! Great giveaway. I think I would probably make a loaf of bread (brioche!) first, and then tons of fluffy frosting (for cupcakes) next.

  109. Susan

The first thing but certainly not the last or only thing that I will make in my mixer is Brioche, chocolate, then raisin..as it looks like this mixer can handle a dough hook or two! Thankyou for this opportunity to win BIG BIG BIG.

  110. Lindsay

Your “Brownie Chunk and Chocolate Chip Cookies” … They are so delicious, and they are now by far the cookie that I make the most often!

  111. the biggest batch ever of Apple Spice Cupcakes, or Pumpkin bread, or cookies… Oh I know all the above and send them with my little sister to school for all the kids to enjoy!!

  112. susan

My most requested triple chocolate cookie recipe for all my relatives. I can never fit all the batter in my mixer and it just becomes a big mess. Great giveaway. Perfect timing for my holiday baking.

  113. kel mcnichol

I would make whatever required the most beating and mixing to really give the machine a workout and save my arms!

  114. Jackie

I make homemade candies like brownie bites, almond joy, english toffee, fugde w/and without nuts, and pecan pie bites to give out for Halloween. I am sure it will be some type of candy..

  115. Call me crazy, but homemade chocolate cookies! Then maybe a pazookie…oh then maybe homemade rolls…who am I kidding…I would be making all kids of things! I can’t just pick one!

  116. Carrie

Are you kidding??! I used my Kitchenaid to make donut dough for my husband’s football team today and it didn’t sound like it was going to make it so a new one would be SO welcome! The first thing I would make would have to be more donuts!

  117. LeGwen

I would probably make bread, a good whole-wheat hearty loaf. There is nothing better than fresh baked bread smeared with butter. I would love to win.

  118. Janine L.

The first recipe I’d make with this ultra cool appliance would be a recipe for special half moon cookies which was handed down from my grandma to my mother.

  119. Nicole V.

I would love to make my “meet the family” chocolate chip cookies. I’ve made these for each of the guys I’ve brought home to meet my folks. 🙂

  120. Mary Montoya

Not quite sure exactly what I would make because I’ve never had the luxury of owning a stand mixer in my 14 years of marriage but would love to bake my husband the best “real” anniversary cake ever.

  121. Angela A.

I would make a triple batch of my Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookies. They are a family favorite and I don’t have a mixer big enough to make more than one batch at a time.

  122. ErIn

My daughter and I would probably start with her favorite homemade Oreo cookies, and then we would think of a thousand other recipes we could make together!

  123. The first thing I will make with my kitchenaid, will be to try your recipe of the stuffed chocolate chip cookie. The one where the oreo is inside the chocolate chip cookie. I have never tried it,but always mean to, maybe this could kick me in the butt!!!

  124. Tiffany

Oh the first thing i would make is either a big batch of cinnamon rolls or some homemade bread. Thank you so much!

  125. The first thing I will make will be Vanilla Cupcakes with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting or pumpkin cheesecake. I’ve been making cookies and cakes by hand for the past 4 months, and it’s definitely a work out! I would be so excited to win!

  126. Susan

My mom gave me her old one that she has had for years so it’s time to upgrade to a new one. I love to make pumpkin cookies and pumpkin bread this time of year, so that’s the first thing I would make.

  127. Katie

Oh please oh please oh please pick me!!! I would LOVE to make a few loaves of honey whole wheat bread. Dying to really 🙂

  128. Penelope

I just came across your website because I found your Double Chocolate Pumpkin Cake with Pumpkin Spice Buttercream recipe linked from someone’s Tumblr. Um, wow. I need to make that recipe ASAP. And it’s definitely the first thing I would make with this mixer!

  129. BridgetSoup

Ooooh I know! I’d make my Grandmothers Norwegian cookies. Only made around Christmas time 🙂 Man what a treat this would be!

  130. Jennie

oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please!

If I win, hopefully I would receive this before Christmas, so I could whip up my batches of Christmas cookies we gift to busy friends and teachers!! If it’s way before or after christmas, then cookies, probably sugar, so my kids can decorate them!

  131. Jennyroo

I make a delicious cake with whipped cream cheese frosting…. the frosting needs to be whipped at HIGH speed for 11 minutes. I only have a hand mixer, how much better would it be to have this delightful stand mixer?!?

  132. Sara

I have been wanting a Kitchen Aid mixer FOREVER! I would LOVE this – I think I would use it daily! But first – probably just some good old chocolate chip cookies!! Mmmmm!

  133. Kristy Vega

My mother for years has cooked with a generic stand mixer. She has made delicious pies, cakes, cookies, you name it. If I won this mixer, I would give it to my mom, so she can replace her decades old mixer with this new one and continue baking her delicious goodies!

  134. Shrimant Saxena

At college, they had these weird cookie bars that were absolutely heaven in the mouth. Think of a chocolate chip cookie with the consistency of a brownie. On top of that, it had ribbons of caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate. As a topping they would put marshmallows and M&M’s and sometimes even crumbled snickers bars.

I must eat this again. It will be made, provided I have a heavy duty enough stand mixer to deal with all those ingredients. CAN YOU TASTE IT?! CAN YOU?!?!?!

  135. Leslie Moore

All the yummy Christmas goodies I make every year, time to ditch the old handheld mixer I have had FOREVER….

  136. My boyfriend and I would make bread with it. Right now we’re not able to use our $20 mixer. We would love to experiment with different flavors too! For example, cinnamon swirl bread without the raisins.

  137. The first thing I would make would be a celebration cake for coming home from New Zealand. I live in New Zealand but wouldnt use it until coming home, in a year. So I would celebrate that 🙂

  138. Melissa Jones

I know what I would make! Homemade marshmallows! I only have a hand held mixer, and it is so very hard to do it a hand held mixer. I love your website, great looking recipes, I can’t wait to try some of your recipes. I a home-schooling, stay at home mom of 3 children. Not only would I be totally blessed by a mixer, but so would our children. My teenage daughter would love to cook with it. Thanks for this opportunity. Blessing to everyone….Melissa Jones

I will make my sister’s Mother in Laws recipe for her Jewish apple cake. After apple picking last weekend we have pleanty of apples and the smell of it baking goes right along with the falling leaves and breeze outside.
    Can’t wait!

The first thing I would make would be whip cream. I’ve been whipping it by hand for over a year now after my beaters broke.

  141. Barbara

I think I’ll make my Grandma’s cookies – Sour Cream Cookies cut into shapes and iced. Sprinkles are a necessity!

  142. Linda

Wellll, since you’re recipe for Cinnamon Roll Pumpkin Vanilla Sheet Cake sounded soooo good, I’ll be making that!

  143. First thing, I’d make some bread! I love homemade bread but think I’d get a better rise if I could knead it in a mixer, and my poor bread machine only makes one piddly loaf at a time. I have been dreaming of a Kitchenaid for years but it’s always been beyond our budget. I would get so much use out of it, I bake almost every day!

  144. Lynn G

I have always wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer!! I would make monster cookies… or cinammon rolls, oh the possibilities are endless. That pumpkin sheet cake looks so yummy!! Ill have to add that to my list!

  145. The first thing I would make are my mom’s delicious lemon scones.. yum! Since I’m away at school I don’t get to eat all of her yummy creations 🙁

  146. Barry

I will ask my wife to make chocolate chip cookies… her birthday is the 23rd and this would be the perfect gift!

  147. Nicole

The first thing I would make would be a triple coconut cheesecake, maybe 2 or 3, to share since it holds so much!!

  148. Cheryl Newton

I will hook up my KA citrus juicer attachment and go to town on some oranges without worrying about killing the motor. What an awesome giveaway. You rock, Jenny!

  149. mommynurse

I would make a 8 loaf batch of bread…..I love to kneed bread but my wrists can’t do it any more……oh, in BLACK please!!!!

  150. Jovita McGowen

The first thing I would make would definitely be Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Swirl Fudgy Cookies courtesy of the Picky Palate because 1. I <3 chocolate, 2. They look AMAZING, and 3. my co-workers have been begging me to make them everyday since I first showed them the post on Facebook 🙂

  151. Julie N

I would make anything that requires using a dough hook! Ha ha! I get so sad when I see recipes that require a dough hook because I don’t have a wonderful machine with that attachment. Thanks so much for this giveaway!

  152. Leslie Day

If I was blessed to win this mixer (a dream come true) I would make homemade chocolate chip cookies with all three of my kiddos and maybe even include my great husband as well.

  153. Sabrina

I wouldd make cupcakes, some beutiful ones with lots of frosting. I would decorate them with sprinkes and such and they’d be a great hit for Halloween

  154. Sophie Jeffery

First thing I’d make? The delicious looking pumpkin cinnamon roll cake thingamajig you posted the other day…even though it would utterly destroy my diet and calorie counting, because it would be worth it.

  155. Coreen

Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. I’ve been wanting to make it for a week or two now, and a new KitchenAid mixer would give me a good excuse.

  156. breanna

Oh man! I love Kitchen Aid this was the first gift that my husband ever got for me when we were dating. So if I were to win this giveaway I would have to make him a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake!

    YUM YUM

  157. The first thing I would make with a brand new red KitchenAid mixer would be the biggest batch of ooey gooey sticky sweet cinnamon rolls. Then I’d sit on the couch and eat them all. 🙂

  158. Brooke

BREAD! I have one of these on my list to buy when I save enough money because my old compact size Bosch just cant take it anymore. My bread baking is seriously suffering because of this! I hope I win… I hope I win… I hope I win!

  159. Karla

Seeing that it is my sons 14th birthday on the day that the contest ends, I would have to make a birthday cake from scratch with frosting from scratch as well. We will be out of town on his birthday and I will not be home to make a cake so we will be getting one from the store so I know he will be a little down that he didn’t get his scratch cake so I would love to make it up to him using a new gravatar.

  160. Sheryl Garcia

I would make a big batch of the soft sugar cookies that my great grandmother made. She would make the dough and barter with in. She lived on a farm in Nebraska and would trade logs of dough wrapped in wax paper for eggs, veggies etc. We make them every holiday and they are so good! The dough is stiff and a big mixer is required. My old Kitchenaid is on it’s last leg. So,,,, that is what I would make. Yum, yum!:))

  161. crzysoup

I would get a jump on Christmas and make “fruit cake” but not the traditional heavy version. Mine is more like sweet bread with pineapple, marachino cherries, golden raisins and a bunch of other stuff I can’t remember cuz I haven’t made it since last year!

  162. It is less than two months until Christmas (your welcome!) and if I would win, I would start my holiday baking. It’s actually never too early to start with the longevity of freezer dough. Let’s be honest, most of the holiday eating of the holiday baking begins in November, at Thanksgiving…or sooner…like eating cookie dough as we make it lol. But that is the first thing I would use my new Kitchen Aid for!!! arlene Marie Pitts

ps thanks for sponsoring this giveaway, i love it!

  163. Melissa Evans

Ooo! I wold love a new, red Kitchen Aid! The first thing I would make would be a big ‘ol batch of chocolate chip cookies. My CC cookies are well know to my family and friends and the recipe calls for a lot of flour and butter and needs a big ‘ol mixer to handle it. I hope I win! Mel

  164. Michelle

Pizza Dough! I’m making pizza for the 30 residents of the Men’s Home at Youth Challenge, a Recovery Program Ministry, and this would be very helpful!

  165. Sara C

I love to make cookies! My grandmother is having surgery next week so I’m busy making things for her recovery.

  166. Peter Winters

I would love to win this for my wife because she loves to cook. I don’t know what I would have her make first but I would totally enjoy it knowing that I won this awesome prize for her. Thanks for the opportunity!

  167. alesha

lemon meringue pie for my parents and grandparents b/c it is our family’s traditional way of announcing a new baby!

  168. Liz

If I were to win I will make cupcakes. Cupcakes are very important to our family and have been a part of many celebrations! This would be worth celebrating!

  169. Fatima Escamilla

I would love this, I would love to make a huge batch of chocolate chip cookies for my fellow teachers at my elementary school. They work hard, are dedicated, and go above and beyond for our students. I could bake up a whole batch, with one fill!!! Woo-hoo!! Only one bowl to clean!

  170. Terra

I would use that Power Knead Dough Hook and make mom’s bread recipe. I do have the forearm strength to stir and knead all that dough!
