Oooooh – what an awesome giveaway! I would give this mixer to my grandma – she just turned 95 and LOVES to bake as much as I do! She has arthritis in her hands though, so this mixer would be perfect! If I had to guess, the first thing she would make would be imperial cookies (the jam sandwich ones covered in icing & cherry on top!)

The first thing I would make with my new KitchenAid stand mixer would be some gingerbread cookies. When I was younger, my dad tried making them with a hand mixer and broke his, then borrowed the neighbor’s and broke theirs since the dough was so thick! He learned and bought himself a stand mixer after that! I would love to be able to make some delicious cookies for Christmas with that beauty!!!! 🙂
