Welcome to my online kitchen! Picky Palate is where you’ll find family friendly recipes along with the best Disney eats, tips and copycat recipes!
Those pumpkin cinnamon sheet cake things you posted yesterday. I think I dreamed about them.
I would make a cinnamon coffee cake! Yum…and then eat the whole thing by myself. 🙂
I think that nearly all of my new kitchen things have been first christened with either Chocolate Chip Cookies, or Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. I think it is a safe bet that one of these is what I would make first.
I would go for classic chocolate chip cookies!
Four years ago when my husband and I got engaged, I registered for one of these babies. Excited, a few weeks later, my registry showed that someone had bought it for us! Showers came and went, the wedding came and went. No mixer. Perhaps it was a mistake, but now every time I see a recipe that suggests the KitchenAid mixer I get a little twinge. So, the first thing I would make would be a celebratory dessert. Perhaps a cream cheese pound cake or deep dish brownies!
pumpkin white chocolate muffins!
I would totally make marshmallows. Hand mixers just don’t cut it for them!
Chocolate chip cookies.
I’ve been dying to make some chocolate chip pumpkin bread. This would make making it SO much more fun!
I would love to make enough bread for my family of seven for a week!
I would make cookies! Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies. YUM!!!
My son’s birthday cake!
Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies. Made some yesterday and they are the most awesome cookie ever!! Thanks Jenny for that recipe.
Pumpkin cupcakes with cheesecake filling and cinnamon buttercream! They are to die for!
The first thing I would make would probably be pizza dough, because my family has a tradition of pizza Fridays! Or, if I could wait, I would wait to use it for Christmas cookies with my mom.
It would have to be cinnamon rolls.
I would make cookies- lots and lots of cookies!!
Cookies. Probably oatmeal chocolate chip. Probably a double batch.

After many tweaks, the buttercream frosting recipe that my family ALL loves.

Christine
I would so make banana bread – this would make my Christmas tradition a much more pleasant experience. I almost bought one last year for my Birthday, but I relinquished my rights as I put the money into my husband’s new soundboard for his guitar instead. He owes me now 🙂
The first thing I will be making with that mixer is red velvet cupcakes.. with extra chocolate chips!
I would make some cookies for our youth group event coming up!!
cinnamon roll cupcakes!!! yuummmmmmm!
Definetly, I would make a yeast bread, a true test for a good mixer.
The first thing I would make is a chocolate cake! I enter a special chocolate cake in my county fair every year. I’ve won twice. I try a new recipe every year, and my husband loves to be the “tester”. He insists on testing the recipe often!
You had me at “mashed potatoes”!
Something with Pumpkin!!!!!
Snickerdoodles! They are my absolutely favorite cookie to make.
Cookies! Lots of cookies!!!
What a super giveaway. 🙂 I will make a pumpkin cheesecake. Delicious!
I would bake a pumpkin spice cake recipe I found…but I need a mixer for it! When you’re 23 and just starting out you dont have all the necessary baking tools!
