LOVE THIS!!! My husband and I are currently saving for a kitchenaid! The first thing I’d make would be my mom’s pavlova. She’s make a fluffy meringue “nest” on a round cookie sheet. The kitchenaid is the only way to make that much meringue without your arms going numb. 🙂 Once the nest is cooked (she’d normally bake it and leave it in the oven overnight with the oven off.) she’d whip up some whipping cream (in the kitchenaid) and place that in the nest. Topped with fruit like strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, and peaches and then more whipped cream. I have incredibly fond memories of mom making this every summer but haven’t been able to recreate it with my hand mixer. This would be awesome!

The fabulous recipe that was passed down to me for Bosnian Buns. This mixer would be the key factor in perfecting the recipe.

As a poor grad student with high baking ambitions, I would definitely make some of my very favorite almond macaroons to share with all my very stressed grad school friends.

I would make chocolate chip peanut butter cookies! I’ve never used a Kitchen Aid before but have always dreamed of owning one!

  5. Melissa

So many things I would love to make with this mixer, but old fashioned chocolate chip cookies would likely be first.

  6. Lisa @ Sweet as Sugar Cookies

I would make the stand mixer chocolate chip cookies or maybe marshmallows.

Goodness, considering I don’t currently own a stand mixer it’s hard to say what I’d make first! LOL I would probably make some yummy pretzel bread, since I wouldn’t have to knead the dough by hand.

Something like red velvet cheesecake or something else super yummy..heck any kind of 14 dozen cookies sounds good! 🙂

I would make my mom’s rainbow cookies (aka 7-layer cookies) – just in time for the holidays!!!

If I were to be the recipient of the KitchenAid Stand Mixer, the first thing I would likely make are loaves of bread to give away to each of the attorneys (3) I work for as well as my office manager, and also with my parents, my boyfriend’s parents and one of the fire houses in my hometown. Additionally, I’d make extra loaves to freeze and give away during the holidays.
