I’d have to say my favorite cake would be Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting as long as it’s homemade. LOVE them and don’t know why I don’t make them more often.
My favorite is pineapple upside down cake, but only if cheesecake doesn’t count.

I love vanilla cake with a raspberry filling…it was our wedding cake and every time I eat that type of cake it reminds me of that special day 🙂
I’m a sucker for a nice, dense and moist cake, so pound cake is number one for me. However I don’t think I’ve ever met a cake I didn’t like.
