As I was deciding what recipe to make from Ree’s new book, my eyes were quickly drawn to her Malted Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love a good thin crispy cookie so I knew this was the recipe for me!

Ok, back to the cookies 🙂 These cookies took no time at all to whip up. The dough was absolutely delicious! Yes, those are my PJ’s in the reflection of my KitchenAid, lol!
I was so excited to get these babies in the oven!

Tonight the hubs is cooking.
His punishment for asking me “What’s for dinner?” as soon as I got home from work last night! 🙂 We both work full time so we share home duties.
It was corned beef and cabbage but now it is salmon. My new crown doesn’t feel like chewing much!
I’m making grilled asparagus and hamburgers — it’s beautiful here in Des Moines and I’m going to celebrate it! 🙂

It is amazingly 74* in Illinois today so am opening our Gas Grill on Porch and grilling Porkchops tonight and will serve with large Baked Sweet Potatoes with Butter & Sour Cream and fresh Green Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing. We’re loving this early Spring!

We are having dinner tonight with my sister-in-law, her husband and the kids – no cooking for me tonight!
Porkchops, creamed potatoes,slaw, mac-n-cheese, with mexican cornbread.
Roasted vegetables… that’s it!
Lucky me – I have book club tonight with a lovely group of women, so I ordered pizza and italian salads for my hubby and kiddos!
I actually made Ree’s steak bites and tater tots! I had her show on my DVR and watched it this morning and decided it looked so good that we would have it for dinner.
I’m not cooking dinner tonight-it’s a Mexican night tonight-eating out at our local Mexican restaurant that is the best place to eat in this area!

Garlic-Lime Chicken and steamed cauliflower.
Steak and potatoes!!! What else???
