As I was deciding what recipe to make from Ree’s new book, my eyes were quickly drawn to her Malted Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love a good thin crispy cookie so I knew this was the recipe for me!

Ok, back to the cookies 🙂 These cookies took no time at all to whip up. The dough was absolutely delicious! Yes, those are my PJ’s in the reflection of my KitchenAid, lol!

Since its just hubby and I tonight ( kids are at a school function ) we are having grilled chicken with pineaaple rings, baked potatoes and asparagus!
I just spent 2 hours getting things ready for an etiquette dinner for the teenagers at church… chicken cordon blu and yumminess… my poor family is getting leftovers!

Tonight’s dinner is leftovers! Last night my mom brought us one of her homemade chicken pot pies and there is enough for tonight also! I might add some garlic toast to go along with it.
I’m thinking of making homemade chicken chop suey…it’s my new favorite dish!!

For dinner I’m making crockpot chicken taco chili, it’s cooking right now and it smells fantastic! Gotta love the simplicity of crockpot meals 🙂
I’ve never been much of a fan of crispy cookies, but how can you possibly go wrong with one of Ree’s recipes? Will have to step out of my comfort zone sometime to give these a try.
