Vintage Candy Giveaway from Blickenstaff’s

Contest is now over. Winners have been notified, thanks 🙂

I’m not sure I have ever had more fun going through a box than I did a few weeks ago. Talk about a grown woman oohing and ahhing over all of this awesome candy. It was even more fun watching my boys go through it when they got home from school 🙂

Blickenstaff’s, located in Provo Utah is a premier toy and candy store. They wanted to hold a giveaway for 3 lucky Picky Palate Readers to sample some of their favorite pieces. How fun is that? Be sure to take a look at their website. So many fun things.

Blickenstaff’s is on Facebook too, be sure to show them some love and “like” them while you are there.

Take a peek and see the goodies up for grabs 🙂

Yum.

Anyone else LOVE Boston Baked Beans? One of my favorite candies ever! What about Toffifay? I used to love that candy when I was a little girl. Hadn’t had it in years. I did not share that one with the boys, lol!

Oh the NikLNips. The boys fought over this one 🙂

3 Picky Palate Winner’s will receive a Gift Bag similar to the candy you see in this post, retailing at over $100.

Here’s How To Enter:

That’s a tough one…I love all candy. I haven’t been able to have sugar since I was 2 due to diabetes, but now I have had a transplant, I can eat sugar. Trust me I am making up for lost time. Right now I am really into Peppermint Patties.

I am not much of a sugar candy person. Don’t get me wrong…I like Skittles and Starbursts and what not…I just can’t eat a lot before I am tired of them…whereas I can eat a pound of peanut m&m’s….Hmmm….maybe I should start buying more of the other stuff 😉

I NEED to know if this store has Bonkers. They are my fave candy from my childhood that they no longer make. It would make dreams come true 😉

I love vintage candy- recently we hosted a 50’s style wedding reception for my 70 year-old dad (who found love again after losing his bride of 45 years). That age group loved the theme – and we had a super fun “retro” candy shoppe with all kinds of 50’s era candy that the guests could take home – one thing I discovered while doing my candy shopping was the Nut Goodie! WOW is it good. If you ever get a chance to try one you should! http://www.pearsonscandy.com/nutgoodie.aspx
They also make “Bun” bars which are incredible too! I hope I win!! 🙂

milk chocolate and I are having a love affair…plain, covering caramel, covering peppermint…you name it! As long as it doesn’t have any nuts 😉

I have never met a candy that I didn’t like. Although lately I have been liking Symphony bars more than anything else.
