What exciting news to find Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Pasta Sauce now has two servings of veggies in every half cup.
We are massive pasta eaters in the Picky Palate house, so I was thrilled to try Ragu’s new pasta sauce with all the extra veggies packed in.

I found that the new formulation doesn’t actually have any different ingredients than the old formula. They’ve just packed more veggies into the formula to get to 2 servings of veggies per half cup (vs. 1 serving per half cup). The taste is the same great taste and they want to assure moms that the sauce they’re used to and have been feeding their families for years hasn’t changed.

We tried the Skillet Pasta and Beef Dinner with our new veggie packed Ragu and the kids went nuts for it. Before I added the sauce, I made sure I tried a spoon of each (the old and the new) and I enjoyed the chunkiness of the new sauce because I knew it was packed with lots of vegetables!

The dinner was a huge success and it literally took minutes to prepare. I love pulling out quick and simple recipes during the busy school week and that is exactly what Ragu helps us with. A great pasta sauce packed with lots of vegetables. Mom is happy and the kids are happy!

I love spaghetti with my homemade meat sauce. I just take some out of the freezer to heat, cook up some pasta, and I’m done! 🙂

Pasta is one of those dishes I like to sneak good stuff into. My son will generally eat anything put in front of him but disguising it with red sauce makes it even easier. I like to make a pasta primavera of sorts where I saute whatever fresh veggies I have on hand (squash, zucchini, peppers, onions, etc) and then add in some marinara and serve it over pasta. Easy and nutritious – a great combo!

Recently I’ve gotten really into spaghetti squash with a touch of butter and parmesan cheese! I’m going to have to try those yummy-looking spaghetti pies using squash vs. spaghetti!

I love spaghetti but my husband isn’t a huge fan so I add Lots of meatballs along with some Chipotle chili powder and red pepper flakes for an additional kick 🙂

I usually throw in some meat (turkey, sausage, or ground beef) with some onions, and mushrooms in red sauce and serve over angel hair pasta

I love making lasagna but only recently figured out I could make it in the crockpot. That way my busy afternoons have one less thing to do!

We are all about simple-any kind of pasta topped with cheese! Throw in some broccoli and chicken for a complete meal. Course, my husband’s answer would be Ramen!

Quick and easy pasta….definitely classic spaghetti with meat sauce for our house. The kids like it and there is no complaining!

We make goulash as a favorite pasta sauce recipe, though we usually make a huge batch on a slow night. We eat leftovers and freeze the rest so its simple to just heat it up on those busy nights.

We’re a little weird because we love sauce and meat over baked potatoes – but we’re from Idaho – what can I say!!!!!

We always fall back on our homemade mac n’ cheese with a little stone ground mustard and sauteed kielbasa. Cheesy, smoky and a little tangy…perfect!

I am an old fashioned Spagetti girl… but I make sure to add homemade meatballs and lots of fresh parmesan cheese!

I love to do what we call pepperoni chicken–chicken, pepperoni, spaghetti sauce in the crockpot and adding mozzarella cheese at the end. That then goes over the pasta–I love the extra layer of flavor with the pepperoni.

I love making Spaghetti Squash Spaghetti! Just cut the squash in half, pop it in the microwave, brown some turkey burger, heat up the spaghetti sauce and voila! A super easy but delicious and healthy meal 🙂

    Or…
Cream of chicken soup, rotel, spaghetti…topped with cheese and baked. It’s my teens fave.
