  8. Christina Brown

I just love CHEESE. Anything cheese is good for me. I love how it brings family together, that has always been big in my family.

  9. My favorite part? It’s a toss-up between the cheese shop scene (that place would be my heaven on earth) and doing the “perfect pinch” making the farfalle.

  10. When the video first starts and they are sitting in that cafe surrounded by all the buildings and scenery. It was nice to see Marisa talk about her family roots there.

  11. I have to say… my favorite part {aside from the insanely decadent food} was at the dinner table with Dan & Vito’s Mama. Cracked me up.

  12. Hillary Crump

My favorite part is knowing that cheese was actually used as collateral at the bank. Crazy Cheese Lovers.

Okay my favorite part of the video was when they played the game in the cheese shop, I thought that would be such a fun game to play!

  24. Rocco with that “shiv” was too funny! I can’t believe they guessed correctly on the cheeses! I never would have πŸ™‚

  25. Brandi

    Wow! What a wonderful opportunity!

It was all wonderful. Italy looked beautiful, the coffee in the piazza was picture pefect. Them riding bikes and twinkling the bell was funny. As was carrying the giant round of cheese. And who doesn’t love pasta with parmasana regiana?? And the wonderful end to a day sitting and chatting with family? Beautiful. I had no idea that was how they pinched the pasta and I would never be brave enough to try to flip it like that!

  26. This reminds me in a nostalgic way of when I lived in Italia. Very authentico- it truly is la vita bella. Fave part: tanto tanto formaggio- delizioso!

  27. So I love that Marissa’s mom and family show up. Nothing pairs better with food than family. And I so want to pinch some farfalle now!

  28. Johnna

Ok, besides the beautiful scenery, the quaint cheese shop and the yummy Rocco, I love Marisa’s Italian boots!

  29. Pam Ivbuls

Jenny, my favorite part of the video is how good Italian food always brings the family together. I also enjoyed watching two different kinds of cooks (chefs and Mamma!), learning cooking techniques from each other.

  30. Katie

I liked the scenery. I would love to travel to another country as I never have before. I guess I would settle for L.A.

  31. Lynne Saltz

The pasta! The Cheese! The Company! Who knew that a taste of Italy is as close as your grocers freezer! A little bit of heaven in every bite!

  32. Rose

  42. I wish I could just reach through my screen and taste test that cheese with them!! I really enjoyed seeing them pinch the pasta. Mine would look totally messed up I’m sure. Also enjoyed watching them ‘try’ to do the traditional toss. I have tried that so many times here at home and it just goes everywhere. I think I need Rocco’s help (in LA)!

  43. I loved the story…the scavenger hunt through Italy to find the perfect ingredients for the pasta. That would be such a fun activity to do with my husband or my kids in a town we don’t know…And ending it at the table with family and friends always makes for a happy ending!

  44. Debbie R.

Wow, Jenny, what a great opportunity!!

I have to say I thought the fact they had to carry that big wheel of cheese to Vito’s was funny! I bet that weighed a ton!! Also loved pinching the farfelle by hand!

I loved the idea of finding clues in a beautiful city to put together your meal. I would have loved doing that with my friend, Kelsi. We love wine, cheese & cooking together for both our families.

  52. Kelli

WOW what an awesome giveaway! I loved the little cafe they were sitting at when they got their first clue– but I have to admit, after she put the cheese hammer in her hair and then I saw the man at the cheese shop using it…. Let’s just say thank heavens she at least looks clean! πŸ™‚

  53. Oh my gosh, Jenny! I’d love to win this trip and come hang with you on the West Coast. My favorite part of this video was when Vito’s mom was macking on Dan…she’s too cute!

  54. First of all, I love Bertolli frozen meals! They’re awesome when you’re in a pinch for a fast and good meal! Second, in regards to the video – um….I just freaking love cheese! I got excited watching them head into the shop – all that delicious stinky cheese just waiting to be eaten! Haha

And OMG, watching them cook and eat that pasta….my mouth is watering!

  55. I’d never heard of cheese being used as collateral before, and it was great fun to see them pinching the farfalle. That is on of my favorite kinds of pasta but I’ve never tried making it before – now I know the secret. πŸ™‚
