Mini Oreo & Peanut Butter Lattice Pies
Oh dear, I have no explanation for this dessert. None at all. They should actually be illegal, but what the heck I will share the recipe with you anyway 🙂
Last Sunday night, the boys and I were playing in the kitchen and that’s when these pies were born. If you follow me on Instagram (pickypalate) you got a sneak peek of them 🙂

How to Make The Best Mini Dessert Pies
You won’t need a whole lot for the recipe, just some peanut butter, Oreo cookies and some pie crust. Well, a little melted butter and sugar to brush and sprinkle on top too 🙂
Hello beautiful stack of cookies and peanut butter 🙂
Cut out little 4-inch rounds from your pie dough, no need for perfection, just eyeball it.
Press those rounds into your muffin pan.
Now, place that little stack right inside the dough. Easy.
Time for the lattice top. It really is easy, follow my photos below for simple step by step instructions.

Time for a little melted butter then sugar sprinkled on top!
Time to bake em’ at 350 degrees F. for about 25 minutes, until golden.
Can you even stand it?! Lol 🙂
Mini Oreo & Peanut Butter Lattice Pies
Equipment
- Oven
Ingredients
- 2 refrigerated 9 inch pie crusts
- 16 Oreo cookies
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and spray 8 muffin cups with non stick cooking spray.
- Unroll pie crusts and cut out eight 4-inch rounds. Press into prepared muffin pan.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter over each cookie then stack 2 cookies on top of each other. Place 2 stacked cookies into pie crusts.
- With remaining pie dough, cut long thin strips to prepare lattice top. Follow photos to make lattice tops or use a flat piece of dough with slits cut on top.
- Brush melted butter over tops then sprinkle generously with sugar. Bake for 22-26 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool then remove from pan.

Thank you for this recipe but unfortunately mine didn’t come out great. My muffin tins must be bigger than yours bc the Oreos didn’t fit right in them so I ended up forming the dough around them. I am not very neat! They didn’t look great at all. I did just stripes on the top which seemed easier than lattice. I hoped they would at least taste good, but I’m disappointed. I used regularly Skippy and this may have been one reason. They are more salty than sweet. I would suggest trying Natural like the OP did and also making sure you load the top/sides with sugar when you sprinkle that on. I had assumed they would be mega sweet but they weren’t. Also people who are neater with dough will probably have a prettier result!

I am clearly in the minority here but while these are cute they are flavorless and dry. I made some yesterday and brought them to the office. No one really enjoyed them. It’s way too dry and flavorless. Any suggestions on how to moisten them?

printing out the recipe, buying ingredients and taking it to my daughter’s house to make with my grandaughter. This is not a recipe I can make on my own and be left alone with the finished pies. It would be much too dangerous.
Adorable. But I disagree with it being a tablespoon of PB on each cookie? It was way too much, the PB came up and over the pretty lattice. Maybe a generous teaspoonful? I used a measuring tablespoon, leveled.
