Pooh Corner Bakery

If you’ve followed Picky Palate you might know we are a bit of Disney fanatics.  I am so excited to start featuring each and every place to eat or snack at Disneyland.  If you have ever wondered “What should I eat at Disneyland,” then I am your gal 🙂

First up, is my most favorite spot in all of Disneyland….Pooh Corner Bakery.

Pooh Corner is located in the far corner of Critter Country right behind Splash Mountain and the Winnie The Pooh Ride.

My boys run straight to the first candy section, lots of treats to choose from.

Another favorite spot for my boys are the Goofy Sour Straws 🙂

More snacks.

Cute festive Disney cupcakes.

Delicious cookies that Wonderland Bakery supplies.

Irresistible chocolate goodies to choose from.

One of my favorite things in the shop is the giant window where you can watch the Disney workers prepare the goodies for the glass case.

I have yet to try these adorable apples, but I have always wanted to.  So cute.

My little stinkers 🙂

Maybe a little too much sugar?  Lol!

Without fail, the two things I purchase at the bakery are the Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich and the White Chocolate and Chocolate Chip Cookie 🙂  Love!

Big and beautiful 🙂

Ok, I am ready to go back so I can get another one of these bad boys 🙂

This Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich may look simple, but wait until you try it.  Delicious with a capital D!  I even re-created my own recipe for this Disney favorite you can see right HERE 🙂

I recently tried this Milk Chocolate Smore’s Sandwich and it was incredible.  I still prefer the Peanut butter one above, but this would be a close second 🙂

Hope you’ve enjoyed my feature of Pooh Corner.  If you’ve been to Pooh Corner, please let us all know what you’ve tried, loved or not so loved!!

Was this bakery just having an off day the day we went?! A few people recommended going there and we were not impressed. I got the white chocolate and chocolate chip cookie and it was flavorless. My sister got a rice Krispy treat and it was dry, my brother got the tiger tail. It was good but nothing to die over. My favorite thing in the park was the Matterhorn Coconut Macaroon at the Jolly Holiday Bakery! Again, maybe it was an off day for Pooh Corner.

Omg! Just found this post last night and obsessing over the white chocolate chip cookie! A friend will be in Disneyland in August and asked her to bring me a cookie! But I might not be able to wait till then! Was trying to figure out if I could copy the recipe. Are those toffee bits as well? Is the cookie closer to a traditional chocolate chip cookie dough or a shortbread dough?

I’d heard about the Tigger Tails so I told my husband to go buy one while I took our oldest child on Splash Mt. He also picked up a Chocolate Covered Pineapple Spear that was SO good! The kids thought The Tigger Tail was yummy and it was fun since it looked like Tigger (I think it would have been even better with orange flavored white chocolate instead of just orange sprinkles). I wish I’d known about the chocolate PB sandwiches.

Please tell me you have been able to re-create the cookies here! A few weeks ago, my kids and I shared one of those chocolate chip cookies and I can not stop thinking about it! Every time we have returned to Disney since having that cookie, it is all I can think about ordering! We usually pack our own food to save money and will pick 1 new treat to try each time, but all I want is this cookie!

I went to Disneyland for the first time ever this past week and specifically made a point of trying the chocolate peanut butter sandwich and the white chocolate chip cookie – both were just incredibly good. You haven’t yet mentioned them but I also loved the Matterhorn Macaroon from the bakery on Main Street and the Caramel French Toast at Storyteller’s Cafe at the Grand Californian. So yummy! Thanks for pointing out such fabulous treats – love your blog!
