If you’ve followed Picky Palate you might know we are a bit of Disney fanatics. I am so excited to start featuring each and every place to eat or snack at Disneyland. If you have ever wondered “What should I eat at Disneyland,” then I am your gal
First up, is my most favorite spot in all of Disneyland….Pooh Corner Bakery.
Pooh Corner is located in the far corner of Critter Country right behind Splash Mountain and the Winnie The Pooh Ride.
My boys run straight to the first candy section, lots of treats to choose from.
Another favorite spot for my boys are the Goofy Sour Straws
More snacks.
Cute festive Disney cupcakes.
Delicious cookies that Wonderland Bakery supplies.
Irresistible chocolate goodies to choose from.
One of my favorite things in the shop is the giant window where you can watch the Disney workers prepare the goodies for the glass case.
I have yet to try these adorable apples, but I have always wanted to. So cute.
My little stinkers
Maybe a little too much sugar? Lol!
Without fail, the two things I purchase at the bakery are the Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich and the White Chocolate and Chocolate Chip Cookie
Love!
Big and beautiful
Ok, I am ready to go back so I can get another one of these bad boys
This Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwich may look simple, but wait until you try it. Delicious with a capital D! I even re-created my own recipe for this Disney favorite you can see right HERE
I recently tried this Milk Chocolate Smore’s Sandwich and it was incredible. I still prefer the Peanut butter one above, but this would be a close second
Hope you’ve enjoyed my feature of Pooh Corner. If you’ve been to Pooh Corner, please let us all know what you’ve tried, loved or not so loved!!
Welcome to Picky Palate! I'm Jenny and hope you can kick your feet up and find something good to eat. The recipes you'll see are my creations and The Picky Palate Cookbook is now available! Enjoy!

Welcome to the ORIGINAL Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe! You’ll find my recipe that was taken all over the … Continue Reading »

that would be my heaven. wow.
That is one of our favorite spots in Disneyland too! We used to ALWAYS get Tigger tails, but they have recently changed them. They used to be covered in orange flavored white chocolate, but now they are covered in sprinkles. I need to try my hand at making my own the old way!!
Jenny you have just made me want to take a road trip up to Anaheim and pay Disney admission JUST to go to the bakery. The cookies, the caramels, oh..it all looks..soooo awesome! You are evil for tempting me like this
Do it girl! You aren’t that far
I read your post where you made your own version of the peanut butter sandwiches. Could you use the chocolate covered graham crackers instead of dipping your own?
Yes! Definitely
So cute! I love the minnie and mickey apples! And that peanut butter sandwich looks amazing!
Yah, love those Mickey and Minnie ears too!
This is such a fun post! I’m a frequent visitor to the East Coast’s Disney World (which has a Confectionary on Main Street that looks a lot like Pooh Corner Bakery), but I’ve only been to Disneyland once or twice, ever. But now I’m really looking forward to all of your posts about it, because I can make a list of things I *have* to do when I do get there again!
I’ve only been to Florida once to Disney World. Its so great to have all of those parks so close together. I’m just glad to have Disneyland 20 minutes away
Oh my! Pooh Corner Bakery is my favorite too! I just love to get the chocolate dipped strawberries. And the milk chocolate cashew bears! Those are fat free, right?
The chocolate dipped strawberries are next on my list!!
Milk chocolate cashew bears?! I want those asap!
Going to Disneyland in October and will definitely stop at the Pooh Corner bakery!!!
You’ll love it Jennifer
Have fun!
Pooh’s Coroner is one of my most favorite stores to visit at Disneyland. The small when you walk in is amazing and so much delicious stuff to look at…and buy
Oops, that should have been….”the *smell* when you walk in……” lol
I totally agree
Love it!
I can’t wait until we can make it out to go to Disneyland. My daughter is a Minnie & Princess addict, so I know it would be so fun. And I’m definitely going to be stopping by Poo’s Corner!!
Just went there last week and had the Cholocate Peanut butter Sandwich. I have never ventured to that corner of Disneyland but remembered your post on it and told my husband we need to go! Bummer Pirates and Haunted Mansion were closed. Can’t wait to hear more of your suggestions.
Was that a caramel-covered marshmallow????!!! That looks delicious!
This is one of our favorite spots too… we try to get our kids to ride Splash Mountain as often as possible just to hang out by Pooh Corner. My favorite thing is the Mickey Chocolate Covered Sugar Cookie. Most delicious sugar cookie with large sanding sugar on top and then the ears are dipped in chocolate. Love them!
I can’t wait to go to Disney again! I’ll have to look into Pooh Corner!
Oh my goodness, this post is making me hungry! Thank you so much for sharing. Disney does everything top-notch!
My daughter and I have a tradition of getting one of those apples and sharing it each time we go to Disneyland (at least once a year). As yummy as they are cute. BUT….$9.95?!?!? Wholey Moley! I don’t remember them being so much when we went last year!! I’m thinking about trying to make my own. The ears are marshmallows….I’m sure it would take some practice to get them as perfect.
Our other favorite tradition are the Mickey head shaped rice crispie treats…ears dipped in chocolate. Yum! I always buy a few extra to bring home to special friends. Looking forward to your other articles on Disney favs!
Jenn
We are also huge Disney fans and annual passholders so I can say this new feature on your blog makes me VERY happy! Thanks to you I have since discovered the magicalness that is the Chocolate Peanut Butter sandwich. Since we couldn’t go all Summer I had to double up on the treat this past visit. Hee! I also like the marshmallow dipped in caramel and then dipped in chocolate but it is not as near and dear as the cookie sandwich.
Just in time…Jack and I are headed there Friday morning. Must try some of these YUMMY goodies. I think Disney put the bakery on the far end of the park on purpose…so we can walk off the treats!
Oh my goodness! Pooh’s Corner is my favorite place to get treats at Disneyland. I’ve practically tried everything they sell there… I used to work for Disney so I’ve eaten quite a few of those ginormous Selma’s cookies in my day. Their oatmeal raisin is my fav. I’ve tried to find a similar recipe to no avail… perhaps you could fix this problem!
You absolutely HAVE to try the Apple Pie Caramel Apple. It is by far the best caramel apple they make. It has layers of caramel, white chocolate, graham cracker crumbs, and cinnamon and sugar. DELICIOUS!
How perfect is this post? We are leaving Sun for Disneyland…..any other good tidbits/tips?
That cookie has got to be the thickest I’ve ever seen. Would love to try those!
i have done disney world not land – but this post made me salivate for sweets and for a trip to disney…nothing better than pooh bear
Love the Disney bakery.
The Granola Thins are awesome frozen.
I went to Pooh Corner for the first time last weekend. My favorites were also the Peanut Butter Sandwich and the White Chocolate Chip Cookie. The cookies tasted like cookie dough, so it was delicious!
Yay, so glad you liked them!!
Me and my husband LOVE their rice krispie treats. I know they are such an easy treat to make at home, but for some reason they are just better at Disneyland. I also love the dipped marshmallows.
I agree Holly, they are the best at Disney!
By far our favorite thing to get there is the GIANT Rice Crispies treat. My Husband has to have them once a day per 4 day vacation there. You guys are lucky to live so close and get to go often. My kids would be in heaven!
I do love those rice crispy mickey ears. I need to photograph those asap. One of my most favorite rice crispy treats ever!
You are so lucky you get to take your boys there! My mom surprised us with 3-day park hopper tickets two years ago for our birthdays. I am dreaming of going back! I wish I lived in California!
Oh. My. God. No wonder they call this the happiest place on earth!!!
Tigger Tails! OMG!!! You must try a Tigger Tale. Oh & the apples are good, but overwhelming.
Next time I must try those tiger tails, they are so cute!
WOW. I loved this post soooooo much. I’ve never been to Disneyland but I’m a huge, huge, HUGE fan of Disney World :0)
I want to go back already…and I just got home about a month ago!
I’m shattered!
I finally fulfilled my childhood dream to go to Disneyland last year and I missed Pooh’s Corner Bakery completely
It looks gorgeous!
Pooh Corner used to be my go-to place for a variety of fudge, but apparently they decided now to just stop selling anything but packaged fudge anywhere in the park. It makes me so sad, especially since now I get a cast member discount and can’t use it on the fudge!
Also, have you tried the Peanut Butter Heaven? I was tempted, but $5 is a lot to pay for a little chocolate treat…
Yes, I tried the peanut butter heaven and I wasn’t blown away like I was with the peanut butter sandwich. The filling was too much I thought, too rich, so after 2 bites I was done.
Hi Dani,
I didn’t know they used to sell Fudge here. It seems the only place I’ve seen fudge is at the Penny Arcade right? Can’t think of anywhere else unless the candy shop in CDA sells it
I think I’m with you on the peanut butter one! but I do have to say that smores bar looks delish!
Were you just there on Friday? I thought it was you! I saw you walking of California Adventure on their big detour and we were walking in! Wasn’t sure though, so I didn’t say anything. And kind of odd to go up to you, when I know who you are from your blog but you have NO clue who I am! Just know I recognized ya! Thanks for your wonderful blog! Love it!
Amy
I love the disney world cookies. (the ones made by selmas.) After my 1st trip to disney world i started ordering them online selmas.com. the white/chocolate chip cookies are one of my favorite too. theyre so big thick and chewy: my definition of a perfect cookie. do u think u could come up w/ a copy cat recipe for these cookies??
I went to Disneyland for the first time ever this past week and specifically made a point of trying the chocolate peanut butter sandwich and the white chocolate chip cookie – both were just incredibly good. You haven’t yet mentioned them but I also loved the Matterhorn Macaroon from the bakery on Main Street and the Caramel French Toast at Storyteller’s Cafe at the Grand Californian. So yummy! Thanks for pointing out such fabulous treats – love your blog!
Thanks a lot for sharing this with all people you actually recognise what you are speaking about! Bookmarked. Kindly also talk over with my site =). We will have a link trade contract between us
We went around halloween and they had pumpkin fudge. OMG it was so good!
Please tell me you have been able to re-create the cookies here! A few weeks ago, my kids and I shared one of those chocolate chip cookies and I can not stop thinking about it! Every time we have returned to Disney since having that cookie, it is all I can think about ordering! We usually pack our own food to save money and will pick 1 new treat to try each time, but all I want is this cookie!
I’d heard about the Tigger Tails so I told my husband to go buy one while I took our oldest child on Splash Mt. He also picked up a Chocolate Covered Pineapple Spear that was SO good! The kids thought The Tigger Tail was yummy and it was fun since it looked like Tigger (I think it would have been even better with orange flavored white chocolate instead of just orange sprinkles). I wish I’d known about the chocolate PB sandwiches.
