The good folks at Chili’s have offered to give 1 Picky Palate Reader a $50 Gift Card to dine at one of their restaurants!! They also sent my family so we could share our dining experience of Chili’s new menu items with all of you. Here’s how our delicious night of eating went down……….
We started with a cup of their new Chicken Green Chili Soup. Let me just say, my husband and I LOVED this, so much I totally re-created it!! See my recipe HERE.
I know, so naughty, but then we tried their new Loaded Beef Nachos. Um….Incredible 🙂
The boys ordered off of the kids menu, but picked at our food too 🙂
For our main course, we shared the new Carribean Salad, Mini Chicken and Beef Tacos and the Steakhouse Sandwich. We really enjoyed all of these plates, especially the Steakhouse Sandwich. The horseradish dipping sauce was AWESOME!
It wouldn’t have been appropriate had we not ordered dessert, so we ordered their new Brownie Sunday, which was pretty much devoured 🙂 Thanks for a great dining experience Chili’s!!

I usually order the same thing since we don’t eat out often. I want to get what I know will be delicious!
I love to try new things. My husband plays its same more.
I love to order new things and things that I don’t know how (or don’t have time) to make. Mmm…Chilis…too bad my husband doesn’t like to eat out! But he does like to eat my cooking especially recipes from my favorite blogHer sites! 😀
It depends on which restaurant I am at. At some places, once I find something I really, really like….I tend to crave it and then go there specifically for it. Other places, I like to try a variety of things. Usually, if I go with my husband or my mom, we order 2 (or 3) things plus 2 plates, then we divide everything up. For instance at Chili’s we’d get that Tex-Mex Salad (don’t recall what its called)and Fajitas, so we both get a little of each. I also love the kids menu at Chili’s because they have actual chicken and not just chicken fingers and grilled cheese. My kids want to eat grown up food just in smaller portions. Would love to win this and take everyone out to eat, it’s been ages since we’ve been able to go.
