Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Sandwiches

I love baby showers! These fun colorful cookies are to celebrate a virtual baby shower for my good blogging friend Maria from Two Peas and Their Pod. She is the sweetest little thing ever and I am excited to share my cookies for Maria with you all today!

Amanda and I have been all over the place together this month, so on her last day here in CA we decided to prepare our cookies together! We tag teamed here for these photos. It was so nice having her in my kitchen to bake with.

Hope you enjoy our cookies for Maria!

How to Make The Best Oatmeal Cookie Sandwiches

You have no idea how handy it was to have two people to do this shot. It’s usually me trying to hold the bowl with one hand and snap the picture in the other hand. Love the action shots. So back to the picture….time to cream your butter and sugars.

You have the most amazing cookie recipes. Every one of them is so incredibly tempting. HOW IN THE HECK DO YOU STAY SO THIN! I would be the size of Texas if i made cookies that often! 🙂

  2. These are so cute and they look so delicious! I’ll have to bookmark these…I’ve been hoarding baby shower ideas, as one of my friends is pregnant right now. But like you said, I’m sure they’re great for any occasion, although I think perhaps an occasion is not necessary. 🙂

I have ALWAYS wondered how you do your action shots. I was like, well, does she use a timer, a tripod, does she have a sneaky husband holding things…now I know..it’s nothing short of a hope and a prayer 🙂

Pretty much the: sprinkles, the buttercream!!!! and the cookie dough itself (love oats in dough!) just makes me very excited 🙂
