This Creamy Crock Pot Spaghetti is so simple and even more delicious! It’s the perfect weeknight dinner dish for your family!
Easy Spaghetti Recipe
We all have a favorite spaghetti recipe, but let me introduce you to my Creamy Crockpot Spaghetti! Making crock pot recipes is such a great way to make dinner time easy. We’re all looking for that! No boiling the noodles, just throw it all into the crock pot and dinner is done a few hours later. I added a little secret ingredient to my spaghetti….some cream cheese that makes for a creamy dreamy sauce. Be sure to try it 🙂

Here’s your line up. I actually used 3 jars of sauce so add one more to this picture….and a couple cups of chicken broth 🙂
How To Make The Best Spaghetti
For starters, brown up 1 pound of ground beef in a skillet.
I keep it simple, a little salt, pepper and garlic salt/or powder.
Now we are ready for the crock pot.
Start by pouring one jar of pasta sauce into the bottom of your crock pot.
Time for the noodles 🙂
Break them in half so they fit nicely into the crock pot.
Pour your ground beef over the noodles.
Sprinkle with some Parmesan Cheese.
Add some cubed cream cheese….my favorite part!
One more jar of pasta sauce over top.
Nice and even 🙂
Close the lid and you are good to go!
Creamy Crock Pot Spaghetti
- Crock Pot
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or salt
- 3 jars 26 ounce pasta sauce
- 1 pound spaghetti noodles
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1-2 cups chicken broth
- Cook/brown beef into a medium skillet over medium heat until crumbled and browned Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Drain fat from pan if necessary.
- Pour one jar of pasta sauce into bottom of crock pot on high heat. Break spaghetti noodles in half and place noodles over sauce. Pour cooked beef over noodles, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and top with cubes of cream cheese. Pour another jar of pasta over cream cheese, close lid and let cook on high for 3 hours.
- After 3 hours, give a good stir (will be thick) and add last jar of pasta sauce and 1-2 cups of chicken broth (more if you want a thinner sauce). Close lid and let cook another hour or until ready to serve.
This is by far the worst recipe I’ve ever come across. I followed it to the letter and came out with a gummy mess…NEVER again
When do add the chicken broth? Mix it in the with sauces first, or pour it over everything after its layered?
Was wanting to make this for a crowd. Have u doubled this recipe in one crockpot?
This looks awesome. Was wondering if I could put all ingredients in the crockpot at the same time? I would cook the hamburger before putting into the crockpot. Going camping and will be gone for several hours so no time to add the other ingredients.
Your instructions don’t say how long to cook it. Is it set on highly for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours??
PS. I did add extra fresh herbs and my picky husband loved it.
Tried this exactly as written and it was great. Go by the written instructions. I did need the extra broth. Fantastic.
This looks great! I was wondering, if I take the meat out do I have to cut down on the sauce? Thanks
This was not very good and we won’t be making it again. Still have two pans to wash – the frying pan for browning the meat and then the crockpot liner, instead of the frying pan and the pot for boiling the pasta, so no savings in the clean-up. Spaghetti made the usual way is better and actually uses less sauce, and no chicken broth needed either.
Extremely user pleasant site. Immense info available on few clicks
When you say 1 pound of noodles, what size box do you use? How many grams?
My boyfriend & I love this recipe!! It’s so easy and we almost always have the ingredients around so it’s a no-thinking, no-fuss dinner!
Hi there! Just found this amazing looking recipe on Pinterest. Do you think this would work with any shape pasta??
Since this makes so much do you know if you can freeze half of it?
I am not a huge spaghetti noodle fan. I imagine you could use whatever type of pasta noodle you wanted?

How big is one serving size?
I love this recipe! I was wondering how big a serving size is though.
Hi Carli, this is a 10-12 serving size 🙂
I LOVE this recipe!! How big is a serving size?
I love love love this recipe!!! But I was wondering how big a serving size is?
Hi! Could you cook this on low for 7-8 hours maybe? And once you pour the last two ingredients in turn it to high? Thanks!
I work out of the house all day, do you think I could get away with slow cooking it on warm for 8-10 hours?
We love this recipe! We shared it in our 25 Delicious Crockpot Meals for Busy Families roundup on The Shopping Mama!! http://www.theshoppingmama.com/2015/10/25-delicious-crockpot-meals-for-busy-families/
I added 8oz cream cheese. OOPS! We will see ho wit comes out!
I am wondering if you could shorten the time by an hour if you use thin spaghetti. (That’s all I have!) I’m going to try it and see what happens. The recipe looks delicious. I like the idea of a creamier spaghetti, some sauces are so dry.
I just made this last night…well overnight actually lol! Thank you soo much it is amazing!!!! As I was up at 4 a.m. to stir in the chicken broth and do a taste test! Soo Delish!!! Thank you again 😀
Let me begin by saying I’m not a spaghetti fan, but after making this recipe I’m hooked. I did use ground turkey and Tinkyada gluten free spaghetti. Thanks for a great recipe.
If I am feeding only 3 or 4 would I cut in half. Would that work?
Hello, I tried this recipe using whole wheat spaghetti noodle and they turned into a giant mushy clump. Was it because they were whole wheat? Where did i go wrong????/
How did you get your noodles to not be one big blob? I followed the instructions and the noodles were one huge rectangle blob 🙁 Maybe I missed something??
I’m going to try this! Sounds like a great, easy dinner. What’s the texture of the noodles when finished? Are the noodles al dente? I have picky people who dislike overcooked pasta! Thank you
Could this be modified to cook over a 9-10 hour time period (while I’m at work) without the noodles getting mushy?
Making this tonight for dinner. But I made it with turkey instead if beef. Can’t wait to try it!
Question? If cooking on high, how is it the spaghetti noodles did not disentegrate? I haven’t had the best luck with pasta in a crock pot. Any suggestions?
I’d like to prep this over my lunch hour and then have it ready once I get home from work 4 hours later. The recipe requires you to tend to it after 3 hours and then cook an hour longer. Is it possible to just add all ingredients at the beginning and let it cook the full 4 hours straight or would that not work.
