Ingredients For Easy Bundt Cake
- white cake mix– 15.25 ounce box. I look for Pillsbury or Duncan Hines.
- large eggs– For consistency, I use large eggs for all of my cooking and baking.
- canola oil– The oil helps keep the cake moist and soft.
- milk– 2% milk or higher works best.
- sour cream– I recommend not going with a reduced fat sour cream for this recipe.
- instant vanilla pudding mix– Find the instant pudding mix in the baking isle near the cake mixes.
- colored sprinkles– Find sprinkles in the baking isle near the cake decorating items.
- white chocolate melts– I like to use the Ghirardelli melts.
How to Make a Funfetti Cake
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and spray a bundt pan generously with non stick cooking spray. Place cake mix, eggs, oil, milk, sour cream, pudding mix and sprinkles into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined. Pour cake into bundt pan, spreading even. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until toothpick comes clean from center or cake. Remove and let cool 15-30 minutes before flipping and transferring to a cake stand.
- Melt white candy melts until smooth. Drizzle over top of cake and top with more sprinkles. Serve room temperature.
Pour canola oil into the mixing bowl.
Add 4 large eggs to the bowl.
Time for the sprinkles!! You can find colorful sprinkles in the baking section of most grocery stores. Amazon is also a great resource.
Does it get more fun than adding sprinkles?!! Nope. Stir sprinkles into cake batter until just combined.
Bake the cake for 50-60 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean from center 🙂 Let cool for 20 minutes then carefully flip onto cake stand.
Now comes the fun part. Drizzle your melted white chocolate over top of your bundt cake! Add pinches of sprinkles over top. I mean, this could not get more fun!
