My funfetti cake is perfect for any occasion, make birthday parties special, Sunday dinner, baby shower parties, and any other holiday needing a sweet dessert. You won’t believe how simple it is to prepare. Let’s take a look at this fun cake recipe!

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make funfetti cake at home. See the recipe card located at the bottom of the post for full details and instructions.
White Cake Mix– 15.25 ounce box. I look for Pillsbury or Duncan Hines.
Large Eggs– For consistency, I use large eggs for all of my cooking and baking.
Canola Oil– The oil helps keep the cake moist and soft.
Milk– 2% milk or higher works best.
Sour Cream– I recommend not going with a reduced fat sour cream for this recipe.
Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix– Find the instant pudding mix in the baking isle near the cake mixes.
Colored Sprinkles– Find sprinkles in the baking isle near the cake decorating items.
White Chocolate Melts– I like to use the Ghirardelli melts.
How to Make a Funfetti Cake
Preheat Oven and Prepare Bundt Cake Pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and spray a bundt pan generously with non stick cooking spray.
Prepare Cake Mix. Place cake mix and eggs into a large mixing bowl.
Continue Preparing Cake Mix. Add oil, milk, sour cream, pudding mix into large mixing bowl.
Sprinkles. Add sprinkles into a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined.
Pour Cake Into Bundt Pan. Pour cake into bundt pan, spreading even.
Bake. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until toothpick comes clean from center or cake. Remove and let cool 15-30 minutes before flipping and transferring to a cake stand.
Melt White Candy Melts. Melt white candy melts until smooth. Drizzle over top of cake and top with more sprinkles. Serve room temperature.
Recipe Tips For Success
Use Fresh High Quality Ingredients. For best tasting results, use fresh high quality ingredients for your cake.
Don’t Over Bake Cake. When baking the cake, make sure you don’t over bake. Use a toothpick to check the center of the cake comes clean when pressed into cake.
Cool Completely. Before flipping cake, make sure it’s cooled completely.
How To Serve Bundt Cake Recipe
Serve bundt cake room temperature cut into 2 inch slices. Serve with a scoop of ice cream if desired.
How To Store Leftover
Store any leftover cake in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
