My favorite soup is clam chowder in a bread bowl but it has to be fresh clams, every-time i eat it i can picture myself sitting in a wooden chair overlooking the oregon beach with the cloudy grey sky’s watching the massive waves hitting the enormous rocks and I can hear the noisy sea lions barking on the shore, I can smell the combination of the sea salt and the redwood trees around me. But it’s hard to get that feeling in Arizona 🙂

One of my favorite fall soups is one I discovered this year. It’s a 3 bean chili that has a sweet taste to it. Put some hot breadsticks with it and you have a delicious meal.
My all time favorite soup is Fabulous Butternut Squash soup! It is delicious, and I am craving it right now. We grew some in our garden this year, but didn’t pick them in time and they froze…so I can’t make any from my garden this year. This soup is amazing and rich with cream cheese. Yum, yum! I hope I win!!!

Choosing a favorite soup is so hard. There are so many that I love. There is nothing like a good soup and salad. Yum!
My favs would be clam chowder(love to have it when on the coast), squash/pumpkin soups, potato soup and corn chowder.
We just made a big pot of clam chowder – We use the CIA recipe as the base and add celery and some extra seasonings. Haven’t had any that tastes any better.

I have many different kinds of soup that I like.
Most favorite of all is chicken noodle with homemade noodles. Growing up it’s what I always requested for birthday dinners – and my mom always smiled or laughed because my birthday is in August! Not really soup season…
I also like spaghetti soup, minestrone, taco soup, tomato, and cheesy soups. YUM.
