I can hardly believe Picky Palate is 5 years old this month! I remember so vividly starting up Picky Palate one late night in AZ not having any idea what I was doing or where it would take me.
I could not ask for a more perfect job that I love so much. Creating recipes and sharing them with you is such a joy and I consider myself very blessed.
Never in a million years did I imagine I would someday have a cookbook! My cookbook was released this week and I am still on cloud 9 about it. Check it out if you haven’t, lots of love went into creating those recipes and pages, I am so thrilled to finally share it with you. There are more than 100 new recipes not on Picky Palate!

I would love your cookbook! I have 4 kids between the ages of 1 and 6 1/2 so believe me, I know picky! The meal that I made that is a sure hit with them is teriyaki tofu- I know, doesn’t sound like a picky eater hit, does it?

I love to make brownies.
I found a fabulous buttercream icing that is so light and not too sweet – so I use it to make a variety of cake fillings – lemon cream, caramel cream, tart raspberry cream, the possibilities are endless and my family loves the taste-testing too!
Happy Anniversary! I tend to make lasagna most of the time. I’ve never made it the same way twice…that’s my joy in cooking and being able to create what inspires me at that moment!
Stews, anything that can go in one pot, also, baked goods that fit a 9″ x 13″ pan, they are the easiest.
