Happy 5 Year Blogiversary Picky Palate…..KitchenAid Giveaway

I can hardly believe Picky Palate is 5 years old this month! I remember so vividly starting up Picky Palate one late night in AZ not having any idea what I was doing or where it would take me.

I could  not ask for a more perfect job that I love so much. Creating recipes and sharing them with you is such a joy and I consider myself very blessed.

Never in a million years did I imagine I would someday have a cookbook! My cookbook was released this week and I am still on cloud 9 about it. Check it out if you haven’t, lots of love went into creating those recipes and pages, I am so thrilled to finally share it with you. There are more than 100 new recipes not on Picky Palate!

Now, let’s celebrate with a giveaway shall we? 🙂

I thought it would be fabulous to celebrate Picky Palate’s 5 year Blogiversary and the release of the Picky Palate Cookbook with a lovely giveaway! The wonderful folks at KitchenAid are offering one Picky Palate reader a 7 quart stand mixer in the color of their choice: red black, silver or white!! Woohoo!

    Well That is amazing! I never buy store bought bread. Each and every week, on Sundays I create a weeks worth of Biga and pinch off a dough ball every night and bake it up fresh. I spent some time as a pastry chef and aside from all the bread production I did pastries and now do that at hoe with my own children.

    Congrats!

    I tend to keep making a cake that I entered into out State Fair two years ago! It won a blue ribbon and is amazing!

    I tend to make your dessert recipes more often. I’ve made the s’mores monkey bread a few different times(;

    Most commonly made dish is probably chocolate truffles, of all things (the husband takes care of the savoury dishes, whereas I’m the dessert queen).

    Cookies. Definitely Cookies. We hardly ever make cookies cause we don’t have any type of mixer. So we’d love to make cookies (and bread. We really want to try making bread)

    I think the recipe I make most often is plain old chocolate chip cookies…although I do make waffles about every other week. It’s a breakfast staple for us. 🙂

    I love making Sour Cream cornbread and though loved by my children, they prefer when I make cookies of any sort 🙂

    My favorite thing to make is Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs and Italan Sausage (sometimes I use Linquica). I make a big batch and portion control it in containers then freeze it. My family loves it as a pasta dish but also for meatball and/or sausage sandwiches. Delicious!!
