I can hardly believe Picky Palate is 5 years old this month! I remember so vividly starting up Picky Palate one late night in AZ not having any idea what I was doing or where it would take me.
I could not ask for a more perfect job that I love so much. Creating recipes and sharing them with you is such a joy and I consider myself very blessed.
Never in a million years did I imagine I would someday have a cookbook! My cookbook was released this week and I am still on cloud 9 about it. Check it out if you haven’t, lots of love went into creating those recipes and pages, I am so thrilled to finally share it with you. There are more than 100 new recipes not on Picky Palate!

I found a lasagna recipe years ago that is super easy to make. A few tweaks later, and it’s become one of my favorites during the cold months.
I love to bake desserts most often anything from cake to breads like pumpkin to cookies. Anything in the way of a sweet. Happy anniversary I enjoy your blog & congratulations on your new cookbook.

I make chocolate chip oatmeal cookie dough ALL the time, and end up eating a good chunk of the dough before it makes it to the oven 🙂

i tend to make a lot more cupcakes than i can handle! as much as i love them i’d like to try making a real MEAL in a kitchenaid! i’ve never had a stand mixer so i would be more than thrilled to win this contest. happy birthday picky palate!
The meal I cook most often is probably beef stroganoff. It brings back memories of my Mom cooking when I was a child – she stayed at home and we always had a hot homemade dinner that we sat down at the table and ate as a family. She passed the same year I graduated from college so I didn’t really get the chance to learn as much as I wanted to about cooking, housekeeping, sewing, etc. from her.
