How To Make Supreme Pizza Recipe
Preheat Oven and Prepare Pizza Pan. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. and line pizza pan with parchment paper or spray with cooking spray.
Let Yeast Rise/Double In Size. Place warm water, yeast and sugar into mixer bowl. Have the dough hook attachment on. Mix gently and let nearly double in size, about 5 minutes.
Add Dry Ingredients and Olive Oil To Stand Mixer. With mixer on low add flour, olive oil, salt and garlic salt. Scrape sides of bowl and let knead for 5 minutes until dough is cleaning sides of bowl. Add sprinkles of additional flour if it’s not. Remove dough with floured hands and transfer to a floured countertop. Fold dough over itself a couple times then form into a round.
Press Pizza Dough Onto Pizza Pan. Place onto pizza pan and press into a 12 inch round, larger for a more thin crust.
Add Sauce, Cheese and Sausage. Spoon sauce over dough leaving 1 inch around edges. Top with 1/2 cup of the mozzarella then layer with sausage.
More Vegetables and Cheese. Top with bell peppers, onions, zucchini, mushrooms and top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake. Bake for about 15 minutes, until crust is cooked through. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into wedges. Serve with a salad if desired.
Recipe Tips For Success
Here are some tips and tricks for making the best supreme pizza right at home.
- Pizza Pan. Find yourself a nice pizza pan or pizza stone to cook your homemade pizza on. I like both options.
- Divide Dough For Individual Size Pizzas. You can cut your pizza dough into fourths and make individual pizzas if you’d like. We do this for the kids often. It’s easier to personalize toppings this way.
- Toppings. Use your favorite pizza toppings for your own favorite supreme pizza. My ingredient list is just a suggestion. Your family may like different meats and vegetables.
How To Serve
Serve your supreme pizza warm cut into wedges. We like to enjoy our pizza with a nice green salad too.
Leftovers
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Reheating Instructions
For best results reheat cold pizza slices in the air fryer. Use these instructions.
