I would L-O-V-E a new stove and double oven! I am on a cupcake baking spree and have some yummy recipes from your site that I am dying to try!

  3. Beth Barber

This would LOVE this. I have always wanted to try an LG appliance. I would start by baking up some homemade rolls. Mmmmm.

  4. Heather Garica

I would make Jalapeno Cheese Bread to go with the BBQ chicken that I love to make! I put chicken breasts in the crockpot with homemade BBQ sauce then shred the chicken put it on the homemade bread with chedder cheese and more Jalapeno’s. MMMM super yummy!

If I won this unbelievable appliance, the first thing I would bake is my scratch cherry pie. It’s been my dream for 12 years to start a little pie business, and I do a lot of baking on the side (secretary by day) for friends and co-workers. This would make it even more fun and maybe further my dream to reality …

First thing I would do with this bad boy is have a fantastic turkey dinner. Turkey cooking in one oven, dessert and rolls in the other along with a bunch of yummy things on the stove top!

  7. Andrea Bernott

I would make a full on turkey dinner, including pie for dessert – I’ve *always* had to rotate food in and out of the oven on Thanksgiving, which drives me nuts! I don’t think I could wait to experience a full holiday meal cooked all at once!

  8. Rachel P

I’d love to win. I think I’d make a roast or something yummy. Some dessert would be good too. 🙂

The first thing I would cook in the new woven would be Chicken Enchiladas:

    Chicken Enchiladas

    Enchilada Sauce

    2 Tbsp. Oil
    2 Tbsps. All-Purpose Flour
    2 Tbsps. Chili Powder
    1 tsp. ground cumin
1 can chicken broth (14 oz)
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder

    Filling

    2 cups shredded cooked chicken
    3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1/4 cup sour cream
    Dash cilantro
    Salt & Pepper to taste
Flour tortillas (I use small fajita size)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare enchilada sauce as follows: Heat oil in a large saucepan. Stir in flour & chili powder. Cook 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.

Mix chicken, 1/2 cup cheddar, 1/2 cup M. Jack, sour cream & cilantro in a bowl. Add 1/2 cup enchilada sauce. Add salt & pepper. Add 2 Tbsps mixture to tortilla. Roll and place seam side down in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Pour sauce over and top with cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes.

*To make beef enchiladas just substitute 1 lb lean ground beef for the chicken.

The sauce recipe actually makes enough to make two pans of enchiladas. Unless we are having company and need two pans, I just use all the sauce on one pan.

We really need a new oven! We just moved into our first home, and the appliances are crapping out on us! The first thing I would love to make in our new oven would be my aunt’s authentic mexican enchiladas. Yummy!

  11. Nick F.

I would make home-made pizza logs one the first oven and home-made choco chip cookies in the other – junk food night!

    Nick

  12. Barb Sandage

I just saw on LG to come here and enter for this wonderful prize. I would have to bake baklava as I have been wanting to make that forever! Of course I would have to make a whole bunch of other stuff also! It would be a dream come true! What a wonderful giveaway!

  13. Linda Birdsell

If I won a beautiful LG double oven range I would make a big casserole of mac and cheese for my family!

  14. Joyce

The first thing I would cook in my new oven is lasagna! Great giveaway! Good luck, everyone! 🙂

  15. Kenny E.

I would spend some quality time with my three kids (ages 6, 4, and 2), and have them help me bake some cookies for them… and me!

  16. Jessica Wells

I have a Lemon Chicken Stir Fry recipe that I’ve been wanting to try for couple of months now, since there would be a double oven attached I’d defiantly make chocolate chip cookies too! New recipe for a new oven, traditional cookies that say “You’re home!” I like it!

  17. Heather

As crazy as it sounds, I’ve been craving Thanksgiving dinner. So, with a beautiful new DOUBLE oven, (who knew Heaven was a synonym for double oven? :>) that’s exactly what i would make. Turkey, chicken n dressin, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie…. the Works!!

  18. Colby

Oh my gosh, I wouldn’t know what to fix first. But I’d surely choose one of my recipes that requires my food to be baked at higher temps (lasagna, etc), while I need to cook the dinner rolls on a lower temp. I hate when that happens and normally start wishing I had a double-oven. LOL. Thanks for the opportunity!

  19. Kris

This oven would make Thanksgiving so much easier! I’d actually make a Thanksgiving dinner just to practice with it!

  20. Heather

Holy smokes, this is my dream oven! A double oven calls for a Thanksgiving style dinner with turkey and all the trimmings. We do a traditional menu like this atleast quarterly because it is so good!

  21. Paula Blevins

I would bake one of my mom’s pound cakes. Probably chocolate. It is a recipe that has been around forever and most anyone to taste’s it, think it is the best one around.
The last 2 times I have made it, it just did not do right. Think it may be old oven.
I have been told that LG is one of the best around and I would so love to have one.

  22. Aimee Berrett

ooh this oven is BEAUTIFUL! I would have so many recipes to make. Maybe I would make brownies first!

  23. Samantha

I love to make Cupcakes and your Chocolate Chip Cookie dough ones really inspired me! I have two great Ideas that I would love to cook in a new oven!!!

    1. Chocolate Cupcakes with Peanut butter Cookie dough in the center with a Peanut butter icing!!

    2. Confetti Cupcake with a Sugar cookie dough center and maybe a Royal Icing on top with sprinkle of course!!

The best thing is I would have enough room to cook both at the same time! <3
