The first thing I would make is gluten free rolls! Our central air went out last year and we’ve been hobbling along on window units (here in the midwest, this is a nightmare for bread!). With five kids who are gluten intolerant, we rely heavily on homemade wheat-free products. Let’s be honest here – it’s not like gluten free breads are affordable. So, they’re either a rare treat or something I make from scratch. With the window units, the humidity is crazy in here and/or the temperature is never quite right. A proofing setting would be a dream!

I would first make a batch of chocolate chip cookies, my son’s favorite. Then I would roast a turkey, bake some bread and then make a pie. I don’t think I would turn off the oven for the first 24 hours I own it.
