If anyone asks me my favorite editing software for all of my photos, without hesitation I say Lightroom. No question. I’ve never been a photoshop gal because of the learning curve. Lightroom is so easy to use, I was so excited to learn that I figured it out in just minutes. (I am not tech savvy at all)
It sure makes my job easy as a food blogger being able to touch up my photos ever so slightly to get just what I am looking for.

There are so many before and after pictures I can show you, but this is one I did just last week when I was photographing my Double Chocolate Butterfinger Cake. We had some friends over and their dog was outside my window watching my cake, lol! I snapped a photo and as you can see on the left, it was dark and gray. With just a few touch ups from Lightroom you get the picture on the right. Love!!

I take photos of everything! Lately they have been of cupcakes and cakes!
Nature, my cat, and my friends!
I love taking pics of vacations, my furbaby, and my new baby girl!
I definitely take more pictures if my dog Mason than anything else! I would love to give Lighhtroom a try as I haven’t had much luck using Photoshop Elements
Definitely take pictures of my kids all the time! I have Photoshop Elements, but the learning curve has kept me from doing much with it. Would love to win Lightroom!
Our kids (mostly their sports), but also our day to day. I am a huge Project Lifer, so this year most of my shots have been our everyday life. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway.
I take pictures mostly of our pets, my husband and landscapes when we travel. We are expecting a baby girl next month though, so I’m sure she will be the most photographed here shortly 🙂
Love to take pictures of my kids and now grandkids!
I take photos of my children the most but also capture cool scenes and nature when I can! I love to take photos of my travels as well!
Definitely my kids and family. Love to put them up all over the house.
I take photos of places most – on trips, excursions, etc. Also my kids and food, though.
I mostly take pictures of family or places I have been. I currently use PS Elements but have heard so many good things about Lightroom that I would love to give it a try.
I take pictures mostly of my son, and nature.
I am a beginning photographer so i pretty much take photos of EVERYTHING, but my favorite thing to take photos of are my fur babies and old abandon buildings. I recently was asked by a friend, who is a yoga instructor, to take photos of her for her portfolio. I’m way excited about that!!
My son is very active in school sports. I love to take photos of him the most during his game play. Action shots are the best, the facial expressions are priceless.
I take way too many pictures of my kids!
I take pictures of pretty much everything, but mostly my beautiful huskies and my food and baked goods, especially cupcakes! 🙂
My kids, and the food we eat!
of my grandson – he’s just a cutie pie.
What a great giveaway!! I most often am taking pictures of my family including our dog! Pictures are the only tangible way to keep memories alive! So we should make them the best we can!
I LOVE to take pictures of my daughters! This would help me display their beauty even better!
What an AMAZING giveaway! Most of my pictures are of my kids and their friends…and I never seem to get them off my camera to the computer – because I don’t have a user-friendly editing system.
Day to day I take pictures of family and friends the most, but when I’m out and about I find myself taking a lot of landscape and nature photos. It just seems like there is always beauty to be found no matter where you look!
I have two areas I like taking the most pictures of: weddings and nature.
as a makeup artist and hairstylist, most of my photos are before/afters of friends and clients. and there’s a lot of my Daughter and our cats too!
I take a lot of pictures of my dog, my husband, and food!
Animals. Animals. Animals..
I’m always taking pictures of my kids! And with a very active 3-year-old, getting the perfect picture is a trial. I need some editing software, for sure. 🙂
I take LOTS of photos of my grandkids!!
Photos of my kiddos, family, nature & of new homes. My full time job is working for a builder selling new construction.
Kids and dogs 🙂
I take pictures of everything around me. I love candids, I think they make the best pictures and really capture the moment. My family actually calls me “paparazzi” because I always have my camera with me at all times. I know they think it’s annoying, me always snapping pictures. I tell them that they will appreciate it one day. It’s funny because this year, my friends and I all turn 40. Guess who they are coming to for all of the old pictures to put on display at the birthday parties. You guessed it…me! Mrs. Paparazzi 🙂
I think probably 95% of my pictures are of my kids/our family.
Definitely my kids!
I take pictures mostly of events/people.
Scenery, animals (especially birds), bugs, flowers….people & food too!
