If anyone asks me my favorite editing software for all of my photos, without hesitation I say Lightroom. No question. I’ve never been a photoshop gal because of the learning curve. Lightroom is so easy to use, I was so excited to learn that I figured it out in just minutes. (I am not tech savvy at all)
It sure makes my job easy as a food blogger being able to touch up my photos ever so slightly to get just what I am looking for.

There are so many before and after pictures I can show you, but this is one I did just last week when I was photographing my Double Chocolate Butterfinger Cake. We had some friends over and their dog was outside my window watching my cake, lol! I snapped a photo and as you can see on the left, it was dark and gray. With just a few touch ups from Lightroom you get the picture on the right. Love!!

I mostly photo my kids.
Previously I had taken mostly pictures of my pets. However, as I am now expecting our first child, I can’t wait to have a new photography subject!
Definitely my kids. They are awesome and adorable, but my photography could use some help!
The nieces and nephews. The dogs are a close second :-). I love my puppies.

I love Lightroom! It’s so easy to use.
Family, pets included, and food are the most photographed, sometimes all in the same picture!
Definitely my kids! After that, I’d say friends or scenery.
I take the most photos of my family, followed by landscape shots when I’m at the beach. Plus my cookies. Does “my life” count as an answer? 🙂
I just got my first DSLR camer, the Nikon D5200. I am still learning a lot about photography but so far love te camera. I love taking pictures of my kiddos!

I would have to say food and friends – and if I can get both together, even better.
My grandkids, we love to take the camera with us everywhere and take pictures of everyone having fun. I love it when the grandkids take our photo too. We print it, frame it, and give them a memory to keep in their room.
Oh my gosh, Jenny! I would love to win this! All the photo editing software is so expensive and I wouldn’t even know where to start so I’ve been using iPhoto for EVERYTHING! I would say it’s a toss up between pictures of food and pictures of my kids! I obsess over both!

My son, a newly graduated high schooler and I both love to take pictures. It’s usually up for grabs as to what. It could be the neices and nephews, or rover, nature shots and even my sons beloved car and motorcycle. This would help him (Ok and me) really develope our talents in photography.
