If anyone asks me my favorite editing software for all of my photos, without hesitation I say Lightroom. No question. I’ve never been a photoshop gal because of the learning curve. Lightroom is so easy to use, I was so excited to learn that I figured it out in just minutes. (I am not tech savvy at all)
It sure makes my job easy as a food blogger being able to touch up my photos ever so slightly to get just what I am looking for.

There are so many before and after pictures I can show you, but this is one I did just last week when I was photographing my Double Chocolate Butterfinger Cake. We had some friends over and their dog was outside my window watching my cake, lol! I snapped a photo and as you can see on the left, it was dark and gray. With just a few touch ups from Lightroom you get the picture on the right. Love!!

Seniors and my son, I haven’t started a business in photography just yet but I do get to tag along my two friends on their shoots and learn and build a portfolio.
It used to be food and/or my house, but I have a 1 month old who now is my subject of choice.
Usually I take pictures of the kids, but I also have a cat.
I take pictures of the people and places we encounter when traveling. I’ve caught many amazing moments and would like to clean them up with a better editing software!
Family is usually all I use my camera for, but my husband likes to take pictures of “things” when we are out.
My pictures consist of my babies, mainly. Can’t get enough of them! 😉
I would use this for taking pictures of my children “Allie & Kyle”, my new puppy “Ruby” and any delish meals I make. I also did a new makeover on my kitchen I need to take some new pictures of that too. ~Stacey

Most of my photographs include my son. But I also love to take photos of my surroundings. I’m in the habit of grabbing my camera bag every time I go out the door because I never know what I may come across!
