Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream with Milky Way Chunks
I am so excited for my friend Susan of She’s Becoming Doughmesstic who’s book just came out called The Everything Ice Cream, Gelato, and Frozen Desserts Cookbook.
Susan and I have met at numerous blogging events and I just love her! She is talented and a wonderful person. Wait until you try her ice cream recipes! To die for I tell you 🙂
Be sure to check out some of my friends who have highlighted Susan’s ice cream recipes from her new book. Susan, Maria, Bree, Brandi, and Paula.
Susan is giving a lucky Picky Palate Reader a copy of her new cookbook and KitchenAid is giving away a fabulous Ice Cream Maker Attachment.

My favorite kind of ice cream is homemade mint oreo!
Hands down it is mint chocolate chip!
My favorite is chocolate peanut butter (or is it peanut butter chocolate?). Second comes vanilla ’cause it tastes so good with any kind of topping.
My favorite purchased ice cream is Graeter’s in Cincinnati, toffee chip. My favorite homemade is a close tie between fior di latte, which is a vanilla bean gelato, or Savannah buttermint, which is a recipe of Jenni’s from Columbus, Ohio. Ice cream is my greatest weakness 😉
I love Snickers ice cream…..Oh sooooo delish!
