Oh please, please, pretty please do “Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes.” But…you could always do all three…keep us wanting more 🙂

I LOVE it all and have sent everyone I know to your site. Thanks for sharing all of your fabulous ideas with us.

    3. Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes

A little of everything is always nice 🙂

I owuld have to say #3. I am always struggling to come up with easy and delicious weeknight dinner ideas. I think tips on how to get picky eaters to eat is a good addition. Also, more recipes for quick side dishes. That’s also another problem I have. We end up having the same sides all week long.

  4. Jen

My first choice would be (3) Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes, however a close second would be (2) Quick and easy dinner recipes only. Honestly though, I’m most interested in Quick Dinners and Desserts, so you wouldn’t even have to put in sides and appetizers and I’d be a happy camper 🙂

#3 for sure. You have too many great ideas to leave any out! I will say, though, that I go to your sight more often for dessert recipes than any other. YUM! I’m so excited you’re going to have a cookbook!

  6. Teresa

I would like to see 3. I love all of your recipes! Why limit it to one catagory when you have such amazing recipes all the way around! I am excited for this cookbook to come out!

My opinion is a dinner and dessert book with recipes that are fresh and different but that will still be kid friendly, or have tips on how to make it kid friendly.

Just got directed to your site for the first time. In the Winning Recipes area (which I will read thoroughly later tonight) is it you personally who competed? Don’t mean to be ignorant, just didn’t know if this was a personal blog or a combination of people.

I definitely think that a little bit of everything is needed. As a working mom I know I need ideas for quick, healthy and always delicious food for my husband, preschooler and vegetarian teenager. Best of luck to you!

  9. Stephanie Chandler (Ava's Avenue)

My pick(s) #1 or #4. My idea for #4 would be a cookbook devoted to my #1 pick, desserts and another cookbook would be a sampling of your most popular recipes (all types… quick/simple meals, sides, appetizers and maybe like your spin on homemade “condiments” AND including a bit from your trips! So to not be confusing, lol… #1 is my first choice and #4 is my 2nd choice, which would be 2 different cookbooks-desserts and then the other I described above 🙂

I’m a sucker for you’re “dessert-y” recipes… Love how you totally come up w/ everything on your own and can also take a boring-ish recipe and spice it up w/ fun and not necessarily fattening ingredients… The pics are amazing too!

And on a sappy note… I’ve had no motivation to cook, bake or do things I used to love to do after I lost my mom totally unexpectedly a few months a go. But YOUR recipes, fun posts & trips have totally and completely motivated and inspired me to get back into it!!!! Yay!!!

Goodluck! Can’t wait to hear what cookbook you decide to do 🙂 I think doing what makes you the happiest and what you’ll have the most fun doing should ultimately be what you do and all this feedback can help w/what you blog!

I love your recipes but really think that a book on just desserts would be wonderful. I love to cook but baking and sweets have never been my “thing” but your recipes inspire me to try different things and they are always a huge hit!

  11. Jessica O

I think option 3 would be great! You could easily put together an entire meal, picking out an app, entree, side, and dessert, all in one fabulous place!

  12. Liza

I think quick and easy dinners from scratch would be a great one, so many quick and easy stuff include cream of this and that, so something from scratch (or minimal help from canned goods) would be fantastic

  13. Lesley F

I like option #3. I love cookbooks with step by step photos or photos of the finished meal! Congrats!

  14. Katie K

I love desserts!!!! but I think #3 would be the best idea!!!! YAY!!! Can’t wait to get it,what ever you decide!!!!

3! I wish you lots of good fortune in putting your cookbook together and I look forward to getting a copy when it is published!

  16. Hannah

I’d say 1. I LOVE your desserts! And I think pictures would be great – they help so much! If you don’t have room for the whole process one of the finished product would be fine. It’s hard to visualize what you’re creating with just the title. And congratulations by the way! XD

  17. Alexis

I think #3 Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes are always valuable to have on hand.

  18. Christina

#3 Quick and easy dinners would be my top choice if I could only chose one, but since you have the option of all three, some desserts and apps would be a nice addition!

  19. Renee

    3. Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes – with the focus on simple dinners.

    Can’t wait!

  20. Jody Sullivan

I love all you recipes…I use then often. Some I haven’t thought of and others intrique me. Personally I think you are VERY creative with your food and arent’ afraid to experiment…me I’m scared just thinking about a substitution!
I wish you all the best in your venture and look forward to seeing a copy once it’s done.

  21. Kim F.

I would love to see #3. It has everything! I love your desserts but your meal recipes are great too. Looking forward to the book!

  22. Elise Snow

Since I love all of your recipes, I think you should make a cookbook with a wide variety in it. I love to flip through cookbooks in the store that only have desserts or only appetizers, but I usually only buy the ones that have a mixture of appetizers, dinners, and desserts. They’re more practical. I think you’d sell more cookbooks that way! Good luck putting together your cookbook. I’ll definitely buy one when it comes out!

  23. Jennifer Ciniello

I would definitely be interested in Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes. I like cookbooks that give you a nice rounded out bunch of recipes, oh and make sure there are lots of pictures. I alomost never cook a recipe without a picture. Thanks and Good Luck!!

  24. Taylorbunch

#3. I think of you more as a dessert blogger, but I really love the main dishes that I have tried.

  25. Shanna

I am always looking for Dinner recipies so i say #2 but #3 would be great too. Just found your website and am loving it. good luck on your new cookbook. thanks.

  26. Ginger

I would like to see #3 — when I look for what to cook, I’m usually thinking about all kinds of different things. I’d probably never cook a dessert if I had to look in a special cookbook for it — it ends up being an afterthought.
