I say the third option- desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes. I like that you’ll have all topics covered

How exciting! I think option 3 is a good way to go but with an emphasis on desserts(!) , just because that is what I like to make the most!

  3. Brandie

I would like #3 since it is a variety, although you seem to have an awesome talent for your baked goodies! I’m sure whatever it is it will be a big hit!

  4. Deanna

Option #3… I LOVE your inventive yet simple dinner recipes. Then on the other hand, I always go straight to your site when I need a good dessert! Pick the best of all and it will be a surefire success! Congrats and good luck on this new adventure!

I think you are all about Family Favorites and that is more than just dessert. I think finding a way to encompass meals with desserts would be great!

I personally love cook books separated by pastas, grains, fruits, desserts, seafood, etc. It helps me out a lot because when im in the mood for protein, I go to meat, or something light I go to salads. Just idea. I would love to see 3. I have loved all your recipes and would rather have it all in one cookbook…all though the just desserts I like to 🙂 That one I would pack in my suitcase when I visit family during the holidays! I would be the first in line to by the all in one cookbook though!!!!

I vote for #3 too, I love having somewhere I can go that has a variety of things which means less cookbooks in my kitchen!

    Thanks!

I’m always looking for new quick and easy dinner ideas for my family (I love slow cooker, one-pot or make ahead meals) so I’d say dinners paired with easy sides (like the pairing rather than having to piece something together myself!) and your fabulous kid-friendly snacks and desserts. And your wonderful photography for every recipe. I am much more prone to try something new if I can see the finished product first! I don’t entertain much so I wouldn’t be as interested in an apps section. Good luck!! I love your blog and know your cookbook is going to be fabulous!!

  9. Andrea Thompson

I would have to say #3 too! Maybe a few simple appetizers, easy dinners, and some of your fabulous desserts! You have so many cute desserts I would love to have one of your cookbooks!

As one in the process of trying to put together a cookbook for our Lady Shriners I applaud your efforts. I am going slightly crazy trying to get enough folks to volunteer their recipes and am about to scrap the whole thing. Having said that, I love cookbooks. My vote would be number three – everything combined. Good luck with your cookbook, can’t wait to see it.

  11. Desi

Can you do best of everything? Best of desserts, apps, dinners, sides etc? That would be great! Please enter me to win the cookbook, thanks!

  12. Chrissy

I vote for number 3. I like the idea of different courses to choose from, you have so many good ones, you can’t limit it to just dinner or dessert or appetizers, etc.! 🙂

I can’t wait until this comes out! Congratulations! 🙂

A picky palate Cookbook?? could it be true?! I Am SOO EXCITED about this. And I have been following your blog for sometime now… so based on what I have seen, and my opionions of cookbooks… here is my opinion:

Over time, I realized your blog has a lot of unusual, unique, simple, delicious dessert recipes. And I feel like this is your strongest point. I mean, the candycorn brownie?? How fabulous is that recipe? And when I am about to cook or bake something… as much as I try not to, I go for the cookbook that is the subject of what I want to make. When I want to make something in the crockpot- I use my crockpot cookbook. When I want to make something Mexican- I get my Mexican cookbook. When I want to make Sweets- I grab My DESSERT cookbook. Therefore, I strongly feel that you NEED to put out a Dessert cookbook FIRST.
I am a HUGE fan of your simple meals and snacks though- and they are some of my most favorite recipes I come across. Therefore- dont stop with the Dessert book.
But if you HAVE to put it all in one- do option 3.
And make sure you use the same picture of your heels and the shopping cart! I love that picture, and truly think that represents what your recipes are all about!

Hi, Jenny – congrats on starting your cookbook!! I would like to see option 3 – a little bit of everything! Good luck!

  15. Andrea

I would love to see any and everything!! All would be a hit! I just say to make sure there are pictures, I hate cookbooks without pictures!

  16. Kristen

I love dessert cookbooks personally because that’s my favorite thing to make, but I would get more use and appreciate option #3 more. Just have more desserts than anything else. 🙂

  17. Ashlan

    I pick:

    3. Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes

A little bit of everything. 🙂

#3 works for me :)! I love your pictures and I enjoy it when you mention your family too / incorporate your kids and hubby in cooking.
