Since you guys are so important to Picky Palate, I would LOVE to know what you would like to see in my future cookbook!

Please leave a comment and tell me which of the following would be most appealing to you for the Picky Palate Cookbook:

1. Dessert recipes only

2. Quick and easy dinner recipes only

3. Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes

4. other ideas/feedback?

THANK YOU so much in advance for your feedback. I am really excited about starting this cookbook journey!

Oh and as a thank you for helping me, I will be giving away 4 beautiful Better Homes and Garden Cookbooks to 4 Picky Palate readers. I’ll have random.org select 4 of you that are kind enough to leave a comment and you’ll receive this beautiful cookbook wrapped with a wooden spoon! Makes a great gift 🙂

The giveaway portion of this post will end Friday November 5th.

Thanks again, looking forward to your feedback!

You can’t have a cookbook without your desserts~!!! But I always love new quick and easy dinner ideas as well. So I vote for everything!

  2. Vanessa

First, Congratulations! I would like choice 3: a variety of everything. I really love deserts so maybe put a few extra in that category, hehe. I mean who doesn’t like it!?

  3. Jennie P

Love that you’re working on a cookbook! All of your recipes are so yummy should do multiple cookbooks! I think you should start with #3 (a little bit of everything) and then down the road do dessert cookbooks.

  4. Esther

I vote #3! Having everything in one place would be awesome! Especially when they’re all delicious 🙂

  5. Robin

Desserts and quick & easy recipes are my choices…with lots of your fabulous pictures!!! I hope to have a dessert cookbook along with you one day!

  6. marisa

I think 3 is the best and then 2. Not a big dessert family but it would be nice to have some just in case!

  7. Diana S.

I vote for #3, along with #4 dedicated to soups, stews and crock pot recipes. Love all your recipes! Good luck 🙂

  8. Hecmi

Congrats!!! Looks like a nice adventure, so fun. Ill say #3, a little bit of everything sounds good.

    CONGRATS CONGRATS!!

Def #3. Go for gold!! I would TOTALLY buy a picky palate book or two… or three and give them to oh so deserving people. I have made a bunch of your recipes like the delicious mini monkey bread for example. That would be a fun one to put in.

I think whenever we open a book we want inspiration. Sometimes we have nothing in mind, therefor I think “desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes” would cover a great deal. The cookbooks I use the most are the one’s that have a bit of everything. The one’s I use the least are the one’s that are just about desserts or just about cakes. Looking forward to your cookbook being born. It is very exciting. ; )

I vote for #3…I think the cookbook should have a compilation of your most popular recipes! I love all of your recipes, but I’m sure you would have to make 2 or more cookbooks to fit them all in. So I say a big cookbook of your best recipes! Have fun with the book! I’m so excited for you!

I like #3- it would be nice to have a variety. But I also like the idea of #1 since you have so many delicious desserts, but I think #3 would sell better. Good luck!!

  13. Melissa

I would like #3. I think your recipes are great so I’m sure whatever you decide will be fabulous!

I’m with most of these folks….. #3. I own way too many cookbooks for my minimalist husband’s liking. When I decide to donate some occasionally, the ones that keep a spot on my shelf are those that are more comprehensive.

So exciting Jenny!! What fabulous news! Congrats, I know you must be over the moon. Hmmmm…this a hard decision! I think your desserts and the creativity you have with them is amazing. I think everyone loves desserts too. My vote is desserts. And you could always come out with another one later too…right? 🙂

I LOVE it!!!! I feel like I missed an announcement!! I’ve been so swamped in kid land this week, I’m so sorry!! But I’m super duper excited and I think my vote would be a dessert book, or a dinner and dessert book. So exciting! Congrats!!

#3. Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes
would be my option. I am particularly fond of desserts, but I am thinking that a well rounded cookbook that is easy to follow (as your directions are)would be fantastic…I have a couple of family members in mind that could use a good cookbook since they only seem to microwave everything 😀 I am always thinking of gift possiblities ;D

  18. Jackie

I’m torn between desserts only and #3, both would be awesome! Maybe leaning more towards desserts only thinking about the ice cream sundea brownies I made from you, amazing!

  19. Jen

Hi! I just started reading your blog today and I have to say I love it. Your recipes are amazing and I can’t wait to try them all (or at least some of them :). I’m just starting my own blog myself so you’re a great inspiration. I personally would want you to include all three but adding more desserts would be awesome! Good luck on your book!

I love to see #2 and #3 in the cookbook. I’m always interested in making things new & interesting for my family, but doing it simply, easily & quickly! Thanks for letting us give some input! I wish you much success!

  21. Jo

I would go with number 2 – quick dinners as a first choice and then number 3- simple dinners, desserts, appetizers…. as a second.

  22. Jess :)

Desserts, simple dinners, sides and appetizer recipes. Everything you put up is beautiful, but it would be great to make the cookbook diverse. Also- lots of pictures!
