Thank you for this awesome chance!! My daughter just started pre-k last monday..her afternoon snack favorites are: cheese & crackers, carrot sticks & ranch, peanut butter & jelly, or cupcakes (left over from her birthday)..Over the summer, she got to have cookies a few times a week as an after nap snack…but only if she napped!! (rare)

My kids are all out of school but when they were younger they used to like cookies or a bowl of cereal. This year I will be picking up my granddaughter from preschool and she loves cookies and milk or fruit snacks.

Having boys ages 10-14 snacks have changed quite a bit! Now it is usually a wrap with salami, pepperoni, and ham with a little pesto for a punch of flavor. We save the cookies for snuggling on the couch before bed with a book to read out loud.

Our absolute favorite after school snack is chocolate chip cookies! My mom used to bake them for me when I was in school, and I will bake them for my own children!!

We make smoothies everyday! It’s one of the only ways I can get my son to eat fruit!

I’m ashamed to say that our FAVORITE go-to after school treat is a granola bar…. nothing homemade at all! 🙁
Choc chip cookies is the favorite for the first day of school – lately (my kids started school already), they have been loving yogurt or apples with peanut butter…

Milk and Cookies seem to tame the beasts in my kids….and the friends they have for playdates!
