So many choices! I would either make a batch of chocolate chip, oatmeal cookies or pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.

The very first thing I would make is my grandmother’s 7-up cake. It was the first cake I learned to bake as a kid and whenever I am feeling homesick and miss her (she lives in New Orleans and I am in Houston) I bake one. It’s such a simple cake, but means more to me than any fancy hi-fa-lootin’ dessert. 🙂

Homemade cinnamon rolls with homemade cream cheese icing. A family favorite.

The first thing I would make with the mixer would be a pig picking cake. I love this cake and haven’t had one in a while.

My 13 year old will make us chocolate chip cookies. In the last month, his love for baking has increased… and so has my waist 🙂

My famous Sweet Potato Bread!!! With this baby I can crank out 5 or 6 loaves at a time and not have to clean my walls and cabinets off where half of the mix splattered because of my hand mixer! =)

That is a hard decision to make…..but since I am pregnant and have been craving sugar cookies with icing on them I would probably have to go with that but don’t get me wrong chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies are right on top of the list as well!

    That mixer looks beautiful!!!

The first thing I will make with that mixer is a huge amount of candy corn shaped sugar cookies for a pumpkin carving contest me and my friends have organized. Along with rice crispy treats colored orange and shaped into pumpkins
